  1. Because Whaley and the Bills have accomplished so much under his watch?
  2. Run defense was putrid.
  3. Not if McDermott has been given more control. Whaley may be a lame duck at this point.
  4. Maybe Brandon has talked them out of it. That's why you hire smart football people. We're stuck in neutral with Brandon and Whaley.
  5. He had to be benched in 2014.
  6. If the Bills hung onto leads, they would have been the playoff team in 2016, not Miami.
  7. It's possible. But some now only want a QB that will win a SB. As if the playoffs are a slap in the face to the fans. Ridiculous.
  8. Blaming media, fans for losing teams is a copout.
  9. Like last season when Watkins missed numerous games. Taylor is better than Fitz. Taylor is not a turnover machine. Talk is cheap.
  10. Hope you're right. I have to go with 7-9.
  11. Good as any except the Pats-not a chance. Pitt., Oakland, KC, for sure are better.
  12. 7-9. 18 years and counting more than likely. This roster has too many holes and not enough good depth. Esp. WR and CB.
  13. Here are the number of trips to the playoffs by the 32 NFL teams from 2000 through 2016: New England 14...Green Bay 13...Indianapolis 13...Pittsburgh 11...Seattle 11...Baltimore 10...Philadelphia 10...Denver 9...NY Giants 8...Cincinnati 7...Atlanta 6...Carolina 6...Dallas 6...Kansas City 6...Minnesota 6...New Orleans 6...NY Jets 6...San Diego 6...San Francisco 5...Tampa Bay 5...Tennessee 5...Arizona 4...Chicago 4...Houston 4...Miami 4...Oakland 4...St. Louis 4...Detroit 3...Washington 3...Jacksonville 2...Cleveland 1....Buffalo 0. 14. The defense is why the Bills missed the playoffs in 2016, not the offense. And now the offense is down more players. TT is the least of this team's problems. Tampa is at home, not on the road. That should be a win.
  15. Yes, and I've stated that before about the Pegulas. 24-24 isn't terrible. Not good enough either.
  16. Because I told you it doesn't matter-those people are not incoming GMs. Whaley was.
  17. Sports writers are not fans. Sugar coating an organization that has not been to the playoffs in 17 years would be a disservice to everyone. Sullivan goes to far at times, but the general pessimism is warranted.
  18. Not sure-the guy pushed a bad NFL QB over a better one. He's bad at evaluating QBs. That was ridiculous, but he's right about Whaley. If you notice, Whaley doesn't get much love from the National media either. It's not a conspiracy. It's all about results.
  19. Whaley claimed EJ had the "it" factor and pushed him on two coaching staffs. Right up till the end of 2016.
  20. He's much, much better than EJ, yet our GM didn't think so. That's scary. Average is way better than EJ could ever be.
  21. I'm all for drafting more QBs, but not a GM that insisted EJ and the "it" factor, while wanting Taylor off the roster. terrible QB evaluator IMO.
  22. Those people were not the incoming GM. Whaley was. He would want his own guys. Nix was phased out. "I was an integral part in the drafting process of EJ Manuel," Whaley said on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access" on Thursday. "I was the person that handled the draft process and setting up the board."
