From my perch on vacation, I see the #Bills cut Cyrus Kouandjio. He goes down as one of their all-time draft busts, a failed 2nd-rounder.
Come on. He pushed EJ right till the end. "Whaley the martyr" is laughable. Your posting is ridiculous. For a guy that beats the drum for change, this defense of Whaley and QBs is comical.

.@VicCarucci: Doug Whaley might have been reaching on self-congratulations over Darby pick. #bills http://bit.ly/2qLrYnC
I hate to tell you this, but Marrone wanted Orton. Rex Ryan is the one who pushed to get Taylor. Whaley brought them in because the Coaching staffs wanted them. Cassel beat out EJ for the number two spot. EJ had more than enough opportuniteis. He's just not a good NFL QB and never will be.
There is so much wrong with this post, I don't know where to begin. EJ was a project pick that never should have been picked in the first round. He had plenty of chances-he failed. Two coaching staffs realized he was not starter material. He had to be benched. He's a draft bust because he was taken in the first round.
Oh my goodness. This is ridiculous. EJ is not a good NFL QB. he does not have the gifts for it. He is what he was in College. He was a project pick. Whaley was not a good GM. TT is a decent alternative till there is better. Maybe McDermott found a gem in Peterman. The defense was the main problem. This roster is still average at best.
The Mods did not move it, therefore it is a separate, worthwhile thread. If you cannot handle criticism against Whaley, don't read the thread. ridiculous.
Are you some kind of message board stalker against anyone who doesn't agree with your opinions? But let's see the next TT thread that is positive and see how long it takes for you to pop up with your own hate on him.
I'd love to have his kind of down-still getting paid a lot of money by the Pegulas but not working. He'll end up on another organization-just not as GM ever again. The athletes and management people of NFL organizations are well paid
-paid to produce and when they do, they get the accolades, when they don't the criticism is part of the business.
And why would he want his own guy-because he gets along with him, they have the same vision, and Beane is a much better overall football guy,GM ability than Whaley. Whaley's body of work as GM was not good enough. The Pegulas realized this.
If he makes the team, will it be as starter? No. He's a first round bust. He's a first round pick that should never have been picked in the first round. He was a project pick that failed.
The Mods didn't move it.
