  1. The rest of the NFL hasn't manned up either.
  2. But why-because of NE. They could do the same in other divisions. Probably about right. 35% is a huge percentage to be that dominate for so long.
  3. Miami won 10 games last season. And why is it so hard-because of NE, the best team in the NFL for far too long. They could dominate other divisions as well.
  4. True. And better overall drafting will mean more success. This last draft seemed like a smart draft.
  5. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/5/25/15688430/buffalo-bills-nfl-draft-pick-retention-brandon-beane "It’s also the continuation of a bad trend for the Bills, who have been shedding their draft picks from the last few seasons at an alarming rate. Of the 46 players the Bills drafted from 2011 to 2016, only 16 remain on the team after Kouandjio’s release. Their draft pick retention rate over that time of 34.8% is dead last in the NFL, well behind runner-up Indianapolis and their 37.2% rate." This has to change.
  6. Vic Carucci‏Verified account @viccarucci 18m18 minutes agoMore McDermott "concerned w Clay's knee situation. We are monitoring that by managing his reps, but he's participated in most everything." #Bills Vic Carucci‏Verified account @viccarucci 27m27 minutes agoMore Sean McDermott: OG John Miller (ankle sprain) day-to-day. WR Zay Jones (knee) still week-to-week.
  7. I checked his twitter-Sulivan has been pretty quiet today.
  8. I was around. I liked both Butler and Phillips. I guess not having social media back then, I don't remember that much hate on both. Some on the radio shows, but nothing how people react these days to such things with social media and message boards.
  9. Keep making Whaley the victim. Players and winning, though, that's the key.
  10. Jones is a really good player too.
  11. The whole point of making out that NE is as bad at drafting as the Bills is nonsense. They pick far lower than the Bills every year, and their first round picks this century have contributed to SB runs. probably a couple of HOF players in that list too.
  12. You claim NE is bad at drafting overall, which isn't true. That's why you were reluctant to list their first round picks.
  13. Exactly. NE has had many successful first round picks during this winning run. Picks that have actually stayed on the roster. Seymore, Wilfork, Mankins, Hightower, Mayo, Jones,McCourty-all first round picks this century. All have contributed to SB runs. These are bad picks? NE picks pretty low in each round each year-I would suspect that they would have some failures.
  14. And NE doesn't make boneheaded moves in the draft like trading up for TJ Graham when Wilson was there, perhaps the Watkins pick with a draft loaded with good WRs. Taking a project QB in round one with EJ. The Bills waste first round picks. NE gets the most out of the ones they do have. Again, where is the list of NE's first round picks?
  15. Where's the list of NE's first round picks?
  16. They draft much lower than the Bills. Denver has won a SB,and Miami hasn't done much, but they managed to piece together a playoff spot in 2016. The Bills have done nothing.
  17. NE drafts far lower than the Bills. Bills have been bad drafters for a long time. What about no one left from the 2013 draft? I bet NE has someone left from that draft. So was 2010.
  18. Let's see a link with Whaley stating that.
  19. Who beat up on Butler and Phillips? Winning teams and playoff appearances.
  20. Nix was a terrible GM. Taylor was not the reason the bills missed the playoffs in 2016.
