  1. hrough 11 games, Watkins has 44 receptions for 827 yards and 9 touchdowns. -Averages 18.8 yards per reception which is best in NFL -Catches a 20+ yard pass on 34% of his receptions, good for 3rd in NFL, just behind Green Bay Packers’ James Jones and Jacksonville Jaguars’ Allen Robinson. -15 catches of 20+ yards is T-16th in NFL -9 receiving touchdowns is T-10th in NFL..... 2015 stats.

  3. So that makes it ok to lose a good player who was by far the best backup to McCoy. On a team with little good depth as it is.
  4. He saved the 2014 season.
  5. Gillislee was a big loss. Can't whitewash it.
  6. We lost our best number two guy.
  7. Jones was a nice pick, as long as he gets healthy.

  9. Nix was terrible. Whaley was average at best. Results do count. The 2010 offseason was terrible. It's listed as one of the worst in Bills history. And for good reason.
  10. "ESPN: Tyrod Taylor to make leap forward NFL Insider, Dan Graziano, of ESPN recently predicted big things from the Bills starting quarterback. A group of NFL Insiders recently got together to predict which quarterbacks would take the biggest leap in the upcoming season. Here is what Graziano had to say about the guy under center in Buffalo. Dan Graziano, NFL Insider: OK, laugh, but I'll say Tyrod Taylor. He has the eighth-best Total QBR in the league since the start of the 2015 season -- better than guys such as Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford, Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers and Andrew Luck. And that has been with Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy missing 16 combined games over the past two seasons. Taylor knows new Bills offensive coordinator Rick Dennison from their time together in Baltimore, which bodes well for his ability to take another step forward in 2017."
  11. You claimed Watkins success in 2015 was only because of his WR talent. Then you claimed in 2016 that the QB makes the WR when TT struggled at times with his makeshift WR corp.
  12. Well, he's ranked around number 20-22 out of the 32 starting NFL QBs. So yes, he is a real NFL QB. Still at it with the nasty postings then playing victim. How can anyone who pushed EJ as a good QB even be in these conversions. I'm negative on some aspects of this roster, but the new hires and the starting QB I really like. I think TT can get a team to the playoffs if he has enough good surrounding talent. Nothing wrong with that.
  13. With a better defense in 2016, this would have been a playoff team. Not Miami.
  14. 3 wins is ridiculous. The starting talent is not that bad. I'll stick with 7-9.
  15. I've posted numerous times that I like all of the hirings. However this roster is maybe average at best without good depth. Lots of work to do. And yes , I place a team that has made the playoffs numerous times, despite losing every playoff game, ahead of us. How could you not? I'll stick with my 7-9.
  16. I'll stick with my 7-9. Hopeful with this Coaching staff though.
  17. http://buffalonews.com/2017/05/30/football-outsiders-editor-bills-will-measurably-worse-2017/ "Departures will leave the Buffalo Bills depending an awful lot on rookies this year, and rookies don't always fulfill their potential right away (if ever). Two of last year's top three receivers are gone. Two of last year's top three cornerbacks are gone. And while LeSean McCoy is still around to keep the running game dangerous, Mike Gillislee was outstanding last year and losing him really hurts Buffalo's depth." I've said before, Gillislee was a big loss.
  18. "FOXSports.com's Cameron DaSilva is a bit premature in putting Sammy Watkins on a list of 11 recently drafted players he says are on the verge of becoming busts. DaSilva has the Bills' receiver ranked No. 2, behind Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. "Watkins is trending toward becoming a bust because he’s missed so much time, and when he has been on the field, he’s struggled a bit – particularly this past season," DaSilva writes. "It’s unfair to call a player a bust simply based on injuries, which is why Watkins has avoided that label up to this point, but another injury-plagued season – or one with fewer than 1,000 yards – and Watkins will be in the conversation after going fourth overall in 2014." It is unfair to make injuries the primary reason for a bust label. Watkins is an immensely talented player. The much larger burden he carries than an inability to stay healthy is what the Bills gave up to go up to get him -- first- and fourth-round picks. That isn't Watkins' fault, but he's going to be strapped with that forever, along with expectations that aren't realistic for someone who is paid to catch passes on a team with a run-first offense, mostly poor quarterback play, and a philosophy of trying to win with defense since his rookie year. Watkins can't escape the fact that fellow '14 classmate Odell Beckham Jr., has produced overwhelmingly better numbers despite being selected eight spots later. Has Watkins' career been disappointing? Yes. The Bills' refusal to pick up the fifth-year option of his rookie contract adds to that disappointment. However, assuming he recovers from a second foot surgery, I'm not expecting Watkins to flop. If anything, he'll be more motivated than ever to cash in on his impending contractual freedom." Vic C.
  19. Well, he only got a chance to win one playoff game.
  20. They make the playoffs. We don't. Bills fans shouldn't knock a team like KC.
  21. KC is a solid team. I doubt they finally have a down year just because Bills fans want it.
  22. It's going to be a lower first round pick.
  23. NE, except for Denver and sometimes Baltimore, rules the NFL, not just the division.
