  1. LOL Goff's 17-year difference photo.
  2. At 0-0, I'd say nope.
  3. YAY!! Too bad the Rams didn't recover that.
  4. Hit on a defenseless player?
  5. YAY! Tony Romo!! At least I can cheer for him. ?
  6. Is there a "rate the super bowl commercials" thread? I wanna know how much Walmart paid for that grocery delivery app one!
  7. I'm happy to help you have the "same brush with fame!" Please, post your full name and general area and I'll get right on making that "nothing" happen!
  8. Hey, I know.... do you have a 14-16-year-old? Mind having their information doxxed? That will bring out the people who think it is fine to threaten them with death and dismemberment. Even better... if your teenage kid has an older brother his 20s and getting married the weekend after this breaks and has nutcases show up at the wedding! (His bride must have been so pleased!) And let's not forget, the internet is forever, so this will follow these children to college, future employment interviews, and throughout their lives! (There will always be douchebags *cough* who think the kids did something wrong by standing there.) If you don't have children in that age group, how about you gimmie YOUR info so I can share on social media some of your outstanding posts in this thread? I am sure you will be thrilled if your home address, employer, work address, your family's home addresses, work addresses, and employers are shared with the entire world! I only have a little over 100K social media followers across my platforms, but have many friends with much larger followings - we can get it out there for you!! (Just like the MSM + politicians did for those children!) After all, nothing happened to those kids, so you have no reason why you wouldn't like the same "nothing" to happen to you, your children, and your family. *insert smirk*
  9. Now that song is in my head. ?
  10. Someone: Dressed up as a klansman Took the photo Developed the photo Submitted it to the yearbook staff Proofed it Signed off on it (including an advisor)
  11. I was also a yearbook editor and agree with your wife. I also agree that the blackface is meh (artistic expression), but the KKK stuff was completely inappropriate even 35 years ago.
  12. I think his age works against him here (25 or 26?). However, if Ted Danson can dress in blackface with Whoopi Goldberg cheering him on (while they were dating) in 1993, wellllllllll...
  13. I have an opinion about this situation which means nothing in the scheme of things. But to those that say stupid-stuff done 35 years ago should not impact the person you are today, for the most part, I agree. I am also extremely glad the internet, Twitter, Facebook, etc was not a thing when I was young. This is an interesting thread:
  14. Excellent idea. The mob-rule has to stop. 15 and 16-year-old students who are private citizens should not be up for a public lynching on Twitter, the MSM, the nightly news networks based on a cut-up video. Private citizens have a lower threshold to prove than public citizens do, and children an even lower threshold. It is time that journalists actually started investigating "news stories" again rather than practicing activism. The pocketbook may be the only way to force the issue.
  15. This tweet is sorta true. Maya Harris does work for MSNBC. She was a "partner with Hillary": Harris was reportedly a “partner with Hillary” in developing the campaign’s domestic policy agenda during Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. According to a New Yorker profile, Harris worked on “issues of race, gender, economic empowerment, criminal justice, policing, immigration, voting rights, and executive action” and would have been given a “top job in the West Wing” had Clinton won the election. Still, it does (again) show the ***** between the new networks and politicians.
  16. Welp, since all the other yellow vest stuff is in this thread... Macron ‘mulls referendum’ to quell French Yellow Vest crisis </snip> According to French weekly Journal du Dimanche (JDD), which cited a number of unnamed sources in the young leader’s entourage, the ballot papers have already been “pre-ordered” and everyone is now awaiting Macron’s green light to set the machinery for the May 26 referendum in motion. The vote would in that case coincide with the European Parliament elections. </snip> The referendum is likely to contain several questions, inquiring on a number of economic, social and socio-economic issues, and would be the first of its kind in the French Fifth Republic’s history. JDD speculated that such questions might include whether France needs to reduce its number of lawmakers, and whether their mandates should be shortened. </snip>
  17. Boy, that is a good question. This was a blind pick a square number, reveal the square numbers when full. I ended up with craptastic numbers. Oh well (I'll laugh if I win something after crabbing about them).
  18. That is basically what it sounded like he was saying.
