  1. Now someone trace the source of that $314M "raised" in August... And why in the world would they need to use $100K in Chinese funded credit cards? Hunter just scammed millions. Do hookers and blow really cost that much? Senate Report: Biden Family Bought $100K of ‘Extravagant Items’ with China-Linked Credit Cards Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden’s family members bought more than $100,000 worth of “extravagant items” in 2017 using a line of credit linked to associates of the Chinese communist government. A bombshell report by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and Senate Finance Committee details numerous cases in which Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and family members have deep ties to the Chinese communist government, Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. In one instance, the Senate report states that on September 8, 2017, Hunter Biden and Chinese national Gongwen ***** — with ties to the Chinese communist government — opened a bank account to fund a more than $100,000 “global spending spree” for members of the Biden family. “Hunter Biden and Gongwen *****, a Chinese national who has reportedly executed transactions for limited liability companies controlled by Ye Jianming, applied to a bank and opened a line of credit under the business name Hudson West III LLC (Hudson West III),” the Senate report states. The report continues: Hunter Biden, James Biden, and James Biden’s wife, Sara Biden, were all authorized users of credit cards associated with the account. The Bidens subsequently used the credit cards they opened to purchase $101,291.46 worth of extravagant items, including airline tickets and multiple items at Apple Inc. stores, pharmacies, hotels, and restaurants. The cards were collateralized by transferring $99,000 from a Hudson West III account to a separate account, where the funds were held until the cards were closed. The transaction was identified for potential financial criminal activity. </snip>
  2. He is right. This is incredibly sad. It is sad for our country, it is sad for our way of life. When did it become "ok" for an administration to spy on well, everyone? When did it become "ok" for one administration to attempt a soft coup against an incoming administration? When did bribery, pay-offs, and graft become "ok"? If you are sad that the Obama administration got caught (oh, don't worry, there were some Republicans that helped *cough*John McCain*cough*), you are looking at this all wrong.
  3. But the polls! No wonder the Ds are trying so hard to rig the voting (and having success in a number of swing states )
  4. The debate should be interesting. I am sure Trump won't get any of this in. Remember, this 87 pages is only an interim report: It's how he paid for the strippers:
  5. Noooo! Really? I am shocked! Shocked I say!!
  6. Seattle City Council votes to override Mayor Durkan's budget veto The Seattle City Council voted 7-2 Tuesday evening to override a veto by Mayor Jenny Durkan of three budget bills that would have halted sharp cuts to the budget of the Seattle Police Department. </snip> As part of the amended budget proposed by the council, which has now been officially adopted, the spending plan calls for: * Cutting the police department staff by roughly 100 officers; * Eliminating the department's Navigation Team, which serves as an outreach effort to the homeless. The council voted 7-2 to override this budget bill, while voting 9-0 to override the other budget bills. * Trimming the salaries of SPD’s command staff. The Council’s 2020 amended budget will strip the department of roughly $3 million, which equates to less than a 1 percent defunding of the department’s 2020 budget. </snip> “Votes do have consequences," Nyland said in the statement. "Because of Council’s actions today, the Navigation team will be eliminated, severely restricting the City’s ability to move people out of homelessness and deal with encampments for the rest of this year. The City will move forward with layoffs for the City staff who are coordinating and helping individuals experiencing homelessness at encampments across the City.” </snip> The council on Aug. 10 voted 7-1 to approve the spending plan that will reduce funding to the police department by 14 percent for the remainder of this year. The budget approved by the council, however, was far below the 50 percent reduction that some members had lobbied for and community groups had demanded. But the vote led to a formal and informal efforts to recall some council members. </snip>
  7. But keep that lock down going! It is for your own good. 87% Of NYC Bars, Restaurants Couldn’t Make August Rent As New York City tackles with rising business closures and unemployment, a new survey of more than 450 restaurants, bars and nightlife venues found that 87 percent of businesses were unable to pay full rent in August, of which 34 percent were unable to pay any rent at all, Patch Reported. The results released Monday by the nonprofit NYC Hospitality Alliance arrive ahead of the scheduled reopening of indoor dining at 25% capacity starting Sept. 30. “If positive rates for coronavirus don’t show significant increase, the capacity will be raised to 50% by Nov. 1, according to Eater.” New York City will be the last region in the state, a month behind neighboring New Jersey in reopening indoor dining. </snip> Eater reported that according to the survey, 60 percent of restaurant landlords had not waived any rent, and of the ones who had waived rent, only a third offered more than 50 percent concession on rent. Since the start of the pandemic, more than 1,000 NYC restaurants and bars have permanently closed due to the crisis. </snip>
  8. Yeah, that was the first thing I thought when I saw he was paying them off simply so they could vote.
  9. That is terrific. And is sure to cause some heads to explode.
  10. Wolf said they will appeal ... Federal judge declines to stay this ruling
  11. Note: this bans it from the entire federal government, federal contractors, and will start the process of having the DoJ go after it as a Civil Rights hostile workplace violation.
  12. This was hilarious (tonight's PA rally). If I find the clip, I will post it:
