  1. Go shopping in the middle of the season if it’s still a need is my guess.
  2. Well, you have to care about regular season wins because you need enough of them to make the playoffs. On the bright side at least McDermott has four playoff wins as opposed to someone like Marvin Lewis. Imagine being a Bengals fan and watching your coach go 0-7 in the playoffs.
  3. Their kicker is 35 and their punter is 37. Their best players besides Rodgers are very young though.
  4. Ditka and Levy are both overrated. Levy made it to four straight Super Bowls though which has never been done before or since. Ditka won one and then Buddy Ryan left. Then he went 15-33 with the Saints before getting the ax.
  5. Most overrated coach of all time. Only one Super Bowl win and appearance with that defense is pathetic. Horrible coaching job with the Saints. Hell of a player though.
  6. You're not doing a very good job of it. LOL. It's probably my favorite free agent signing that wasn't one of our own last year. Even before this signing the only thing preventing this roster from winning the Super Bowl is injuries. Same as last year.
  7. We were also 0-5 in one score games that year and still hit the over. Bet the Bills at 10.5. Losing seven games seems highly unlikely barring an Allen injury. Also, the Steelers are my favorite over by far.
  8. I look at it as giving us more ammunition to trade up and down in the early rounds of next year's draft. Also, more resources for in season trades to help us down the stretch this season.
  9. We got a younger Hopkins on a rookie contract. Super Bowl.
  10. Hoping Luke Kuechly comes out of retirement to play for his old d-coordinator. Yikes with this pick.
  11. The Athletic guide has him at 6035 (official combine height) which is about 6'3 and a half. Although he measured at 6037 at his Pro Day. Tall enough with his 78 and 3/8 wingspan.
  12. If Beane ever takes a RB in the first round he should be escorted out by security and locked up in a detention facility. I'll pay for it if the county/state won't.
  13. I was thinking more Zach Ertz. I do know that McDermott and Beane witnessed firsthand what Olsen and Shockey could do to a defense in Newton's rookie year. I'm bummed how the draft board fell but am glad we didn't go defense as it would've been really easy to stay there and take Mazi/Nolan Smith.
  14. Knox is a better blocker. Kincaid should be a better receiver. It's an interesting pick to say the least.
  15. No way for 17 million. Washington's only play is to hope he regains his rookie form before the injury and then sign him to a new contract if he does.
  16. That was the only realistic part. There were so many laughable absurdities to the movie. -Drafted two non premium positions in the top 10. -Traded three first round picks the first day of the draft on a player they weren't 100% sold on when you already had a serviceable quarterback on the roster. Sorry 49ers fans. -They had at least nine months to do a background check on Bo Callahan and just happened to stumble that he had character concerns the final day. -Costner was supposed to be the protagonist savant GM who got the best of the Seahawks. All he did was allow them to move back to #7 and still get their QB meaning a smaller rookie wage salary as a #7 pick as opposed to the first overall.
  17. It was more upbeat than I anticipated. Before watching I read the plot outline of Browns navigating draft day and just figured it would be more of a tragedy like Schindler's List.
  18. With the 30th selection, the Eagles select Lukas Van Ness, Edge, Iowa The Eagles could use pass rush help to get to whatever AFC quarterback they'll face in the Super Bowl next year and Van Ness was the best player on their board. The abhorrent Chiefs @Billlare on the clock.
  19. It's going to be Zay Flowers so let's just move along.
  20. The Bills move up to #24 swapping 1sts with the Jaguars and giving them our 4th rounder. Similar to what we did last year. We leapfrog the Giants to take Jordan Addison or Zay Flowers (whichever one is left).
  21. Okay. Two. Still pretty poor for an expert who claims to be plugged in across the league. I guess he's plugged into New Jersey.
  22. He got one right last year. ONE. Sauce Gardner to the Jets.
  23. Fox News is such a force that they can easily survive firing Carlson just like they did O'Reilly. My guess is it was a culmination of a lot of things and Murdoch finally decided he was more trouble than he was worth. Not sure we'll ever know the straw that broke the camel's back though.
