  1. Then our defense had a chance to make a stop with three timeouts left and couldn't do it. I get the frustration with the offense coming up small on that final drive but the Chiefs hadn't put up more than 30 points all year until this game. Four TD's and a FG should've been more than enough. It's like blaming the doctor after life saving open heart surgery for still having to be on blood pressure medication.
  2. I hear you with the draft capital but I had Brian Thomas Jr. in the tier with the other top three so I was bummed when the Jags took him. I thought he was a top 10 pick and he pry should've made the pro bowl this year even though he played for a dysfunctional franchise. We wouldn't have had to make the Amari Cooper trade if we moved up to get him so we'd have that 3rd round pick this year. I don't know where we go from here at the WR position. I hope Coleman will be better but his ceiling is a low end WR2 imo. I'd add a DE to our list of needs. Most important draft of Beane's tenure since 2018.
  3. You wonder how much the Benford injury played into that.
  4. He's the only obvious cut on the team. I think you're going to see less cuts and restructures than usual this year.
  5. If Ben Johnson is every thing he's hyped to be he very well could've led the Commanders to the Super Bowl assuming they take Jaden Daniels if he took the job.
  6. Oh absolutely. The Texans were the most boring team in the playoffs and not even the most popular team in their state. The Chiefs get the Swifties and two elite QB's will always get huge numbers in the playoffs.
  7. Yeah. Either a first or two 2nds it pry would've taken. We'd have a stud #1 outside WR right now though.
  8. Not sure on that play but he was definitely injured. That's why he wasn't on the field for that last drive. At least I hope that's why he wasn't.
  9. Are you a Saints fan?
  10. Chiefs going for history and the Bills trying to finally knock that door down. Two best QB's in the league facing off against each other. It was a great game to watch if you're an NFL fan. Torturous for us but I'm sure the league was happy with the results.
  11. Pry not. Ben Johnson didn't win the conference championship last year and stayed with the Lions. It paid off for him this year with getting the best coaching job available and $14m a year.
  12. To fool your doctor leading to a better BMI so they won't scold you about your eating habits and recommend Greek fricken yogurt. Just a guess with no personal experience whatsoever.
  13. I think Smiley will be fired and that's about it. Two things can be true about McDermott. They overachieved given their roster quality (even with Josh Allen) this year making it all the way to the AFC Championship when Vegas had the Jets as the best odds to win the AFC East prior to the season. They got completely out coached again against the Chiefs reinforcing all the doubts about whether McDermott has a playoff ceiling and is therefore oddly a victim of his own success.
  14. I was team trade up for Brian Thomas Jr.. It wouldn't have cost us that much draft capital especially considering we got a 2nd rounder this year for Diggs. Beane needs to start returning my phone calls.
  15. I'll add one just to make everyone feel even better.
  16. It is kind of funny you singled out the one trick play that Daboll stole from and failed miserably to replicate. I agree with you though and they need more in their arsenal on 3rd/4th and short though. It's obviously not automatic.
  17. We tried that already. Go to 7:53.
  18. Maybe I'm not dwelling on that play so much because of how underwhelming the majority of the team was yesterday. Kincaid just happened to be the one that didn't step up on that play.
  19. I couldn't have stopped on a dime like that. I pry would've fallen over and thinking I'm too old for this crap.
  20. After watching that I'm actually impressed Kincaid was able to stop on a dime and put himself in position to make the sliding catch. However, he needs to make that catch.
  21. That first drive he was erratic but I'd pry still keep him if I was Beane.
  22. There goes the comp pick.
  23. Can we donate to AA because the officials who spotted that ball on 4th and one wouldn't even pass a sobriety test of walking in a straight line?
