  1. The Bills obviously don't share that concern. My biggest concern is he's rarely playing at 100% health. It's no coincidence his healthiest season (2021) was also his best. In OTA's where they can't even hit? The Bills have likely been looking to re-sign Edmunds as soon as they could this off-season. We know they were talking to his agent in early March based off Oliver's deleted instagram post.
  2. Six upgraded position groups imo. Six that stayed the Same. One got worse. This is a really bad post and may be an overreaction to what you deem a bad extension. TE - (Kinkaid > Morris/Sweeney) IOL - (McGovern, Edwards, Torrence all better than Saffold). Morse and Bates returning. WR - (Harty/Scherfield > McKenzie/Kumerow) RB - (Harris/Murray > Singletary/D. Johnson). Even if you think it's a push Stevenson and Murray don't have the fumbling problems Singletary has. DT - upgraded (Poonah Ford > Tim Settle). Settle's still on the team but likely just a depth piece now who'll struggle to make the game time roster. S - upgraded (Taylor Rapp is better than any backup safety we had on the team last year). Stayed the same. - CB, OT, P, K, DE, QB Got worse - LB
  3. He's currently the 16th highest paid DT at 15.75m a year. He'll be 18th after Wilkins and Williams gets their deal. It's about where he should be imo. My biggest concern is he gets lazy Dareus style but McBeane know his work habits much better than we do.
  4. About where he should be at 16th in average annual value money wise among IDL at 15.75m with the price only going up. Don’t love it or hate it. He’s an above average three technique when healthy. Thought he was older than 25 so he’s got that going for him. I guess this puts the Ed Oliver trade rumors to rest.
  5. Too high imo. The Super Bowl favorites in each conference have lower grades.
  6. Say what you want about Ed Oliver. At least he's at OTA's.
  7. They'll have to pay eventually one way or another.
  8. I'm completely fine staying there as our roster is good enough right now to win a Super Bowl. I don't want to kick the can down the road any more unless a premier RT becomes unexpectedly available.
  9. Two out of those three were fantastic decisions and that ain't bad. The Toronto Series was bs though and will always leave a stain on a complicated legacy imo.
  10. Of course it does. It’s not a guarantee you can’t be a successful WR like Beasley though if you’re superb in other areas. McKenzie wasn’t.
  11. He seems to go into a weird run to show how young he is and then immediately falls to show how old he is.
  12. Likely want to give him the opportunity to go to a franchise where he has a chance of making the 53. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on our practice squad in September.
  13. Scouting report weaknesses via nfl.com. Just couldn't overcome them and the Bills backup plan (Crowder) broke his leg so they were more or less stuck with him. Diminutive frame Arm tackles can end his run immediately Has small hands and a minimal catch radius Body catcher allows the ball to bang against his frame Shows below average hand-eye coordination and overall concentration Contested catches are an issue for him Routes lack sharpness expected from smaller, quicker wideout Takes time to gather into his breaks and is slow to accelerate out of them Able to uncover vertically much better than horizontally and struggles to uncover in short area Production bolstered by jet sweeps and swing screens
  14. I'd argue the rest of the game was his greatest performance as defensive coordinator. Effectively blitzing Mahomes which is a feat in itself. Playing a 3-2-6 dime package they rarely showed before confusing Mahomes and Reid. Playing different coverage concepts on both sides of the field on the same play. Where was this ingenuity when it mattered? I get not having Von hurt them in that regards against the Bengals but still....that game plan against them was just awful. Held the Jaguars to 10 points in 2017 season. Held the Ravens to 3 points in 2020. Held the Patriots to 17 points (seven of them in garbage time) in 2021. All elimination games. Average defensive performance against the Texans, Colts, and Fish. All elimination games. If your point was they were awful against elite offenses in the playoffs then I'd agree with that.
  15. I agree with this philosophy in the NFL over other sports because you have to at minimum beat three quality teams to win the Super Bowl and each game is a do or die. Even if you have a 65% chance of winning each game, the odds of that other 35% hitting one in three times is pretty high. That's assuming your season doesn't get derailed because of a rash of injuries or your starting quarterback suffering a freak injury. In a seven game series in other sports the better team usually prevails. Even when the Rams went "all in" it likely took a dropped 49ers interception (luck) for them to reach the Super Bowl and if they didn't win it they'd be a case study of why you don't mortgage the future for one season.
  16. You have to wonder if Beane's regretting signing Von now making it more unlikely he'll take a similar swing on a soon to be 31 year old WR. It has to be going through his mind and rightfully so. If Hopkins wants more than he's comfortable offering he shouldn't make the deal.
  17. The DVR on YouTube tv is as good as any cable/sattelite service with a box. You should have no problem synching it.
  18. From who was available, what he had to work with cap wise, and how the draft board fell it's a start. We have more high end starter talent and depth in the interior of the line. Not doing the same for the tackle position is fair criticism. The deeper issue is a failure of Beane since he got here is not spending enough draft capital on the o-line and striking out when he did (Ford and probably Spencer Brown). Also, when he did finally hit on a late round o-lineman he gave up on him too soon.
  19. Pegula should fire Beane on the spot if he ever gave a RB a lucrative second contract. It's the one position where you just draft them on day two or three, let them play out their rookie deal, and then pray you get a comp pick for them.
  20. He'll always be viewed as more of a Kevin Durant to the Warriors if that happens. Coming here he could be looked at as the guy who finally pushed the Bills over the top to win their first Super Bowl. That would be my sales pitch at least.
  21. Diggs knows he only has a few more seasons left at an elite level. He wants a Super Bowl and has come up short three straight years in the playoffs. He should do everything in his power to try and get the best out of Allen and the team around him. I'm not sure if not being at OTA's, posting cryptic tweets, and not doing anything to "quell" the fears of some fans/teammates (maybe) he's not all in for next season is his way of saying that.....but I got nothing else.
