  1. It's a lot simpler just to rip the contract up and do another one. The fact that he's making less about four million per year than Dak makes this a home town discount. He could've said $65m/year with $300m guaranteed or I'm requesting a trade. Mahomes basically did the same thing but they had to make it more complicated because that organization does everything in the most nauseating way possible. He's basically on year 2 of 4 of a fully guaranteed $210.6m contract at $52.7m per year. Even more team friendly considering he's the best in the NFL.
  2. There isn't but it's naive to think a new contract wasn't getting done given the explosion in both the QB contracts and salary cap. Chiefs had to do the same thing with Mahomes.
  3. They were 10th in yards per game. Turnovers will regress to the mean on both sides and there's no way our o-line is staying that healthy all year again.
  4. An awesome QB and no legitimate #1 WR to throw to. Awesome plan.
  5. Not drafting a WR on days one or two from 2021 through 2023 is really all you need to point to WR not being on the top of his priority list. Yet alone all the free agents he could've signed or traded for. His biggest misstep was thinking Gabe Davis was a viable #2 WR.
  6. Wait until they see the Parsons deal the first Sunday of the regular season.
  7. His annual average salary is the same as Trevor Lawrence's. That's a hometown discount.
  8. It's the Eagles and then pry the Lions. Steelers. It's always about the money.
  9. All Allen's injuries last year were on runs. I believe he fractured his left hand jumping into the end zone against the Cardinals. How long until it's his right hand?
  10. Damn. That hurts. Would've given him that contract in a second. You can't surround the highest paid QB in the league with a below average WR core.
  11. In our last five playoff losses (Chiefs and Bengals) we have a total of six sacks for 30 yards. It's a problem.
  12. The same agent who said he was playing on MNF against the Jets probably.
  13. If we were guaranteed three years of Hendrickson in his prime sign me up for giving up two first rounders. He can make as many cryptic tweets as he wants.
  14. He put up more yards than Cook last year and I'm assuming they can get out of it after next season with minimum dead money if he starts to show decline.
  15. Aaron Jones is older but this would be the ideal contract extension for Cook.
  16. Metcalf was the only player that interested me as usually giving up multiple firsts plus and then paying a top of the market contract to said player has a horrible track record. If we can get Metcalf for a 2nd and a 4th or something like that I have no problem with the Bills paying him $30m plus a year. We need elite players at premium positions on either side of the ball.
  17. Three and a half seasons of elite production?
  18. That's what happens when you hit a lot of singles and doubles in the draft. Also what often happens when you haven't cracked even the top 20 in draft position since 2019.
  19. I was never a fan of it to begin with. The worst thing you can do is give up hefty compensation (two first rounders plus) for a non QB and then make that player the highest paid at that position in the league. Except for Metcalf because the trade assets wouldn't be as crippling.
  20. The Browns paying him without an established QB gives me the Mario Williams signing vibes.
  21. It's technically different but it would have taken a leap of faith to think the Cardinals or Titans would be a contender.
  22. Von Miller just reported on the Bees and Wax podcast that he's working really hard for the Bills on recruiting Von Miller. So, I'm guessing there's no shot whatsoever now.
  23. No. Don't worry. Watson will come back late in this year and turn into his 2020 self leading the Browns to the Super Bowl.
