  1. Hurts won't even be in the top 50. PFF knows what he has around him.
  2. There's no way they're leaving Donald off the top 50. He's at least top 10 and should pry be top 5.
  3. Top 10 guess in no order considering none were in 11-50: Nick Bosa, Myles Garrett, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Micah Parsons, Aaron Donald, Trent Williams, Chris Jones, DeVantae Adams, Joe Burrow. That leaves Hurts out of the top 50 behind Lamar and Herbert. Eagles fans are going to be thrilled. He was #2 on Monson's list but this is PFF as a whole's list. He's the #3 QB on this list.
  4. I wonder if the Minnesota cop bothered to give him a breathalyzer.
  5. 2021 Titans 8 games with Derrick Henry -147.6 rushing yards per game. Henry: 219 carries, 937 yards, 4.3ypc. 20 carries of ten yards or more (6-2 record) 2021 Titans 9 games after his toe injury with rotating backups - 135.8 yards per game. 193 carries, 908 yards, 4.7ypc. 22 carries of ten yards or more. (6-3 record) It's more about the o-line and scheme and having a back like Henry will give you a little bit more overall (11.8 more rushing yards per game in this case) but not significant enough to pay a back top money.
  6. I expected it to end with a Charles Clay drop.
  7. Why'd he have to come back so much? Mostly because the Raiders defense hasn't ranked in the top 20 in any season in that time frame. Glad to see him get out of the dysfunctional Raiders franchise. Carr's a good QB (in the 13 to 16 range) who struggled in McDaniels offense as he regressed in almost every aspect. He was awful in the Red Zone. It's a tough offense to learn in one year which is pry why they switched to Jimmy G on a cheaper deal. I don't think he's good enough though to be the driving force behind a Super Bowl victory though.
  8. This first list was created in 2007 . Sixteen years ago. The second was created by some random guy named Chris in 2012. It's pry why no movies in the last 15 years made the top 100 list. Twenty-one movies made in the last 15 years made the top 100 of the IMDB 250 list. My personal favorites were The Dark Knight, Interstellar, Django Unchained, and Inglorious Basterds. Big Nolan and Tarantino fan though.
  9. Josh Jacobs is only 25. Pollard is 26. It’s a question currently being answered.
  10. It’s easier to find an elite potential running back in the mid rounds than a WR. It’s passing on guys like Metcalf or Pickens for a OG or CB that ticks me off about Beane.
  11. No they won’t. They’d put more money into their o-line as that’s way more predictive of running game success. See Pittsburgh’s o-line with Najee Harris.
  12. As long as he shows up and doesn't take it for granted.
  13. Smart teams would still just cycle through RB's on a three year cost controlled rookie deal and not re-sign them. Getting rid of the rookie wage minimum scale for RB's or reducing eligibility requirements to enter the NFL draft would help somewhat. However, then players at other positions would complain. I don't see an easy fix.
  14. To be fair we're only four years away from Zeke getting a 6 year 90 million dollar contract with 50 million guaranteed. The running backs complaining now didn't know how quickly the position would become devalued growing up.
  15. After getting spanked by the Patriots at home in 2006 we went to Outback Steakhouse by the McKinley Mall after the game. We were seated at a table next to Melvin Fowler and his girlfriend/wife(?). They finished the entire bloomin' onion appetizer with him doing most of the heavy lifting and he then pounded down an 18 ounce Ribeye.
  16. There's an argument to be made about D-line but not RB's or WR's. Beane gave Diggs a 24 million dollar a year contract which is 5th in annual average value. He gave John Brown and Cole Beasley the biggest contracts of their careers by far. All three were key in helping Allen develop and leading to four straight double digit win seasons. The biggest contract Beane gave a free agent RB I believe was Chris Ivory in 2018 (2 years at 2.75m per year with 2.5 million guaranteed). Drafting RB's in the middle rounds on a cost controlled rookie deal is smart roster building. The problem is the execution as Singletary was serviceable while Moss was a disappointment.
  17. Eric Moulds too but it doesn’t mean jack squat unless you’re superstitious.
  18. Probably but it will premier on the History channel.
  19. Unless it was all guaranteed I don't see him jumping at that offer.
  20. There were some hints of criticism of Edmunds by Beane before the final year of his rookie deal. Specifically when it came to being slower to react to plays at times. I didn't hear any of that with Gabe. Regardless, I think they offer him maybe 3 years 33 million or something like that. If he doesn't take it then they'll just let the season play out.
  21. There's so much we don't know. It was reported that the Bills and Chiefs were trying to acquire D-Hop via trade before the draft before OBJ signed his deal basically blowing up any chance of getting a deal done with either team. Did Beane shut the door after the draft given we signed Kincaid and he realized there might just be too many mouths to feed? How good of a sales pitch did the Titans give him? Was it all about the money? Did Hopkins not want to be considered a #2 passing option behind either Diggs or Kelce? Did the whole Diggs situation at mini camp have any impact on signing Hopkins? Did reports surfacing of Hopkins not practicing during game weeks make Beane more gun shy? There's a lot of other possibe scenarios that led him to signing with the Titans and not the Chiefs, Bills, Pats, etc... As far as Davis goes, the quote that sticks out in my mind by Beane is "I know no one - no one - who's going to outwork Gabe Davis." They talk glowingly about other players who they've let walked but it just feels different with him. Beane likes to get ahead of the curve when it comes to signing young players he drafted who he thinks has a lot more room to grow (see Ed Oliver and Dawson Knox). Even Taron Johnson to a lesser extent. My gut is they see Davis in a similar way and his inconsistent play last year was due to his high ankle sprain and not finding a viable slot option to force the defense to give Davis favorable one one one matchups down the field where he makes his bread and butter. I do think they sign him to an extension this off-season unless Gabe isn't willing or asks for too much.
  22. To be fair to that poster in one of his press conferences this off-season, Beane said he didn't want to do a tear down in a couple years and that's what would happen if they weren't responsible as these "win now" signings would pile up. I think the Von signing was something that he did that was out of his comfort zone and it backfiring with the ACL injury made it less likely he'd take a similar risk. It's pretty clear now he wasn't signing Hopkins unless he got him at a discount.
