  1. They brought in E. Sanders for a year, brought in OBJ for a visit, and then tried to get Hopkins. I think they prefer him in that WR4 role so I don't see them overpaying for him now. They love the guy's work ethic/DNA/whatever but recognize his limitations. I'd be surprised if they give him any more than a 10 to 11 million a year extension that's not too difficult to get out of.
  2. Their strength is their defense. Barring a complete collapse on that side the offense would more than likely be the main reason for the hypothetical three wins. I can see them going 6-11 or so and Rivera gets fired and Bienemy takes over. Not 3-14 though.
  3. If I had more faith in human competence then I'd consider it but refs are human beings who are flawed which is why I'm calling for robot refs in the future. Until then they need to aggressively push for more cameras and fully embrace the sky judge. Tanking is hard to pull off but not impossible. The 2014 Bucs were up 20-3 at halftime in their finale against the Saints. If they won they wouldn't get the number two pick so they put backups in in the 2nd half and ended up losing 23-20. Little good it did them though as Jameis Winston was a disappointment (arguable bust). They weren't sure so side with the home crowd. Human nature. I'd argue if the Titans homerun throwback would've been called a forward lateral if the game was played in Buffalo.
  4. Trump's team knew about the possibility of the red mirage before the election which is why he was attacking mail in voting. It's pretty pointless to try and argue though as the more you vehemently deny that the election wasn't stolen the stronger their convictions will get that it was.
  5. I don't want to destroy two young lives but three years is too lenient. Should've at least been 15 minimum imo.
  6. There's no way in hell they promote an offensive coordinator to a head coach if that team only wins three games. That's never happened before.
  7. It's just pent up frustration of guys they want to see make the roster who don't because we keep special teams only players.
  8. Doc Brown doesn't know why Rivera made those comments though as it made him and Del Rio seem like pushover coaches and some of their offensive players seem soft. Washington was 25th, 23rd, and 24th in offense under Rivera so it's not like the player friendly approach Scott Turner previously had worked.
  9. I doubt it. Good luck as new owners selling to your fan base that we should promote our offensive coordinator to head coach after a three win season. When you fire a head coach you usually clean house. Plus, you'd probably get your pick of the litter of head coaching candidates when they know they get to draft Caleb Williams.
  10. Plus. It would cost more to cut him than keep him. We had the fewest special team penalties in the league last year, had the best average starting field position on kickoff returns, had the most kickoff return touchdowns, allowed zero kickoff or punt return TD's, and had the best special teams DVOA overall. Other than that, they sucked.
  11. I can't give a response to this until you explain further because I have no clue what you mean. My best guess is dudes who think their females being allowed to participate in woman sports but I'm not sure. The overturn of Roe vs. Wade pry has much more of an impact on the female vote in the 2024 election compared to the trans movement when it comes to social issues.
  12. That very well could be but I don't think you get that many mail in votes for Biden if Trump handled the cornavirus messaging better as they seemed to lack a consistent strategy to sell to the public throughout the process. Even though I thought his initial response to the outbreak and the Operation Warp Speed to create the vaccines deserved a lot of praise, there was a lot of mixed messaging during Covid that confused people and he came across to many as lacking empathy (a major reason suburban women showed up in large numbers for Biden compared to Hilary four years earlier).
  13. Very good special teams player who can hopefully take that 4th/5th WR role. Good blocker for a WR so hopefully Gabe won't have to play 90% plus percent of snaps again.
  14. There’s a racial component to this imo with Hurts ahead of Burrow and Allen. Voted by the players who are predominantly black. Especially considering the history of how society viewed black qb’s that’s changed for the better the last twenty years or so.
  15. Hurts shouldn’t be ahead of Burrow or Allen.
  16. They trusted him enough in the playoffs though and J just assumed based off his good play he’d be the shoo in cb2 this year. It’s perplexing.
  17. I really don't see any surprise cuts coming. If there was I'd go with Sherfield or Shakir.
  18. My concern with Elam is the fact that McDermott usually does start his first round rookies their rookie season. The fact that he was benched for the corpse of Xavier Rhodes against the Pats last year was concerning. The fact that a fifth round rookie the same year split time with him last year is concerning. That he's not the clear cut starting CB opposite Tre White going into this year is concerning. If you can't tell I'm concerned.
  19. The backup situation is so bad Ken Dorsey was seen taking snaps.
  20. He scored a 13 on the Wonderlic so that wristband might be going back on real quick.
  21. No. Trump knows the WNBA isn't profitable and soccer is un-American.
