  1. The best case yet for never giving an elite running back a large second contract. Even the one's that partially or fully live up to it don't even sniff a conference championship game. Got to hand it to the Bills during the drought for taking three running backs in the first round and giving McCoy a huge deal.
  2. His future hasn't been written yet. No one's has!
  3. It would be funny if they only kept Josh Allen on the 53 and then just rolled with practice squad call ups every week.
  4. Who though can you bring in from the outside that knows this offense that you can trust the QB2 spot to right away? Keenum and Trubisky are pry roster locks for the Texans and Steelers. They'll definitely sign someone to the practice squad they hope to quickly develop but right now I don't see a better option to start the year at QB2 than Kyle Allen.
  5. No. I think they roll with Kyle Allen.
  6. Life is random and "omens" and "fate" are just people trying to exert control over the unknown. Having said that, a prominent NFC quarterback in the late stages of career switched to an AFC team and even changed his number that year. Coincidence?
  7. On the Bills broadcast it seemed Beane was making excuses for Kyle Allen mentioning how long it took Keenum to feel comfortable in the offensive system. I took it as a message to fans that he's our backup unless someone becomes available that is an obvious upgrade. My guess is nothing happens trade wise and Kyle Allen is your #2 going into the year. They may bring in a practice squad developmental QB to learn the offense while Barkley is on IR. I doubt it. He's got a sweet gig with Amazon where he doesn't have to get hit on a weekly basis. Plus, he's so old he played with Bart Starr his rookie year.
  8. So, the Texans hold all the leverage here. They could tell the Bills give us your 4th rounder next year for Keenum or you're going to lose your 3rd. LOL.
  9. What I'd love to know is if Edmunds declined a similar contract last off-season to what the Bills gave Oliver this off-season.......or did the Bills not to want the same mistake twice?
  10. Who will be the new whipping boy now that Daniel Snyder is gone? I reserve my judgement until the regular season. At this point last year Isaiah McKenzie was Cole Beasley 2.0 in most fans mind.
  11. No drops either and that's a huge part of why they signed him and Sherfield (plus drafting Kincaid). All low drop rate metrics. It sucks we don't get to see practices to get the whole picture (closed practices) when it comes to cut down day.
  12. That would be a surprise given he's the best pure one technique behind D. Jones and McBeane love their space eating d-tackles. I haven't heard many negatives coming out of training camp. I think they keep five like they did last year as Phillips will pry get injured early on.
  13. By far it's players screaming "Let's go." (Where are we going?)
  14. I stopped listening locally once Art Wanderer retired. Nationally, I do like the PFF podcast with Monson and Palozallo as their knowledge about each team is quite impressive. Plus, it's not a debate show which is always a plus. If you hate PFF then don't bother though.
  15. Spot on. Brutally executing dogs in a dogfighting ring is a common mistake that far too many young people make.
  16. Interesting. As we all know, Beane values 4th round picks too much to give up that much.
  17. Dan Quinn's defense lost the Super Bowl for Atlanta giving up 34 points and 546 yards. He also was one errant Jimmy G errant pass away from winning the Super Bowl against Saint Mahomes. Saying they'll never win the Super Bowl with him at the helm is crazy to me given he's only 43 years old.
  18. Give him a similar contract the Packers just gave Jordan Love.
  19. A team like the Vikings would be smart to trade for him as they have a solid foundation in place especially on offense. Let him learn behind Cousins for a year like Mahomes did behind Alex Smith.
  20. Ramaswamy was the only one who played directly to Trump's base so that's not too surprising. I thought DeSantis was too timid. Christie is just annoying and is running to get a job on a cable network. I thought Haley was the most impressive but it doesn't matter.
