I have no recollection whatsoever of that game. I do remember the excitement that we got a home MNF game in like 10 years or something like that.

Forgot about Zay Jones. Still surprised we're not at the bottom in that position though. Very interesting though going through each team. It just shows you there's multiple ways to build a good and terrible roster. Poor Chicago can't get the QB position nailed down. -

Second year GM and coach. Similar to when we drafted Allen. I'd find it hard to believe they wouldn't draft a QB with the 1st pick. I like the shakeup though.

He tweeted that at 9:38am and I bought. I'd have been foolish not to given the power our wonderful legislative branch gave to him. Don't know what the time issue is with the tweet but it was this morning.

I'm just happy he was given an off ramp to stop the bleeding by focusing on China. Stuff will still cost more but taking them on is worth it imo.

You're the one that brought up the stock market and this wasn't your average weekly fluctuation. We had a two day crash the biggest since Covid and had the biggest one day gain going all the way back to 2008. You're also the one speculating how the market would've done if he didn't go scorched earth on his tariff policy including a country with an island of penguins.

It looks better now than three hours ago. One thing I'd love MAGA people to admit is that they were lied to in that Trump's use of tariffs were never about bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US.

Economy is hard to predict but if Trump didn't back down from the tariff war I'm pretty sure a recession was happening. I posted this a week ago and stand by it.

Under what metric? Trump proved that tariffs are punitive and free trade is good. Lower taxes, deregulation, and a secure border leads to economic prosperity. The market is reflecting that right now. Also, Trump proved that it was never about bringing back manufacturing jobs to the US.

It's a good predictor of the economy. Always has been.
