    I think part of the frustration after the game is not being able to fix their offense like they assumed they would as the season progressed and it boiled over yesterday. It's enjoyable to watch tbh.

    It's possible. He drilled the 48 yarder in the rain against the Eagles but his kickoffs into the end zone weren't through the back like they usually were (also may have had to do with the rain). There may have been some wind in the stadium yesterday as I found it odd Reid didn't let Butker try and kick that 56 yard field goal and punted instead in the first half.

    He didn't strike it well. You're right. I still think it would've eeked through from that distance though. I thought it was a great play by Carter.

    I didn't like that decision. I'm guessing the percentage of getting 3 points from 62 yards is a lot better than a TD on a Hal Mary. Bass has made plenty from 50 plus that would've likely been good from 62 before. I know the kickers give the head coach a line of demarcation before the game but that would've been an appropriate time to ignore it.

    Bass would be 84% (about league average) if Jalen Carter doesn't make a great play on the blocked field goal which shows you why you need a larger sample size when evaluating kickers. Sam Martin I'm way more concerned about going down the stretch.

    Yeah. I finally caved. It was a good read. Well written. Dunne made it crystal clear that he thinks McDermott should be fired which I appreciate since you can then read it as a well sourced opinion piece. No real surprises but he makes the best case on why this team should move on from McDermott than anything I've read or heard previously.

    At this level it’s more about X’s and O’s. They’re professionals who should be up for every game.

    Offense - Gabe Davis. I think he gets a lot of looks with Sneed on Diggs and McDuffie on whoever is in the slot. Defense - Groot in run defense, containing Mahomes, tipping some balls on some of their stupid short crap, and generating some pressure along with Floyd.

    That's the downside of putting it behind a paywall as not as many people will read it so they rely on others interpretations. I'd pay the monthly fee to read it but then would be afraid I'd forget to cancel it.

    Yeah. It blows my mind that out of all the examples in history of teamwork towards a common goal the hijackers on 9/11 was what came to mind and there wasn't a filter in his head that said maybe there's other options. We all make mistakes but good lord that was dumb.

    Just the fact that it wasn't leaked until four years later is amazing to me. Especially in the age of social media where everyone has a voice.

    It's somewhere in between and whatever you think of the story is influenced on your priors when it comes to your opinion of McDermott. How could it not be?

    It was so Billsy of us to clinch the number two seed two out of the three years after they added a 7th seed.

    I would. He hasn't won a playoff game since the Obama administration. McDermott's won four despite him being apparently a quarterback killing narcissist.
