  1. We also may have won the Super Bowl last year if he didn't suffer that ACL injury. Joe Burrow had enough time to read the bible in the pocket before the pass rush got there in that Divisional game. It's not like he was a whiff of a signing before that as we arguably don't win the Ravens or Chiefs game without him in the lineup. Just really unlucky. Pickings were slim in free agency on the offensive line that year as well.
  2. I thought it was possible before he predicted it. A slow ramp up process is definitely the way to go but I doubt they start that until he's had at least two weeks of practice.
  3. I think they should send Diggs there early so Josh and him can work on some deeper routes.
  4. He said if he's a betting man he'd expect him back for the Jags game so scratch that. I'll predict the Giants game just because he pry watched the game last night and will threaten to retire if the Bills don't let him back out on the field in Prime Time against that o-line.
  5. It's definitely subjective which is why you have these objective measurements. The areas that come to mind that are pry impossible to measure are how complex the offense is, what the QB is asked to do, and the quality of the personnel around them (coaches and players).
  6. Some nerd should take all the different QB rating metrics out there (passer rating, pff grade, qbr, DVOA, EPA, etc.) and average it out to give the most accurate ranking. To me the eye test of a skilled observer will always win out though.
  7. Which is ridiculous. If they're told to "back off" on offensive holding you're going to get more of a variance on that call because each official will create his own standard of what is enough to draw a flag. Holding is holding. It goes back to that inconsistency frustration that Saleh brought up after the game.
  8. Yeah. I saw a lot of those clips on twitter. I also saw some obvious game changing calls that the Chiefs got screwed on that Chiefs fans pointed out. Example.. I'm not conspiratorial by nature when it comes to officiating because they're human beings watching 22 players at real time speed. The refs just sucked in that game and I blame their incompetence above all else. I would put more officials on the field and make it their full time job. Especially with them fully embracing gambling.
  9. You're reaching. The ref was grabbing for his flag while the ball was in the air. Also, for all the people that complain about Sauce Gardner getting away with holding you're mad at that call?
  10. They could flex that Bills/Giants SNF game tomorrow.
  11. We have a pretty big sample size of this team now being it's been relatively similar the last three years. They either blow teams out or it's a 50/50 proposition (as long as it doesn't go to overtime).
  12. Shake it off Zach. I believe in you. Plus, I need you to cover that 8.5 point spread.
  13. It was way more prevalent 4 to 5 years ago. He's largely eliminated it from his game. Yes. Besides week one.
  14. It was ONE WEEK. My god. Sample size people.
  15. Allen and Mahomes would sacrifice their first child before checking down like that on 3rd down.
  16. I'm guessing Rapp but who knows. Hamlin's worst games coverage wise last year were against the Fish.
  17. It depends on the player. Miller tore his ACL back in December of 2013 and was back to his old self playing nine months removed. He started the 2014 season and had four sacks in his first four games back. If your definition of insanity holds up he should be his old self when he steps on the field.
  18. Gotta get there my friend. This isn't basketball.
  19. He was just an average pass rusher last year and was clearly in decline (both physically and apparently mentally). Hope he gets the help he needs.
  20. It would be 30 to 24 if that were the case so you should get the credit if that's the final score in overtime. I'll go Fins 38, Bills 30. The two biggest problems with our defense is tackling and a lack of speed guys in the secondary. The Dolphins are the best team in the NFL to expose that.
  21. The 2nd down run wasn't out of bounds. Packers used a timeout. Goff at least had the recognition on 3rd down to take a sack if the throw wasn't there.
  22. I just watched it and I think the only two candidates that actually think they can win are Haley and DeSantis. All others have ulterior motives imo (cabinet positions, media positions, they hate Trump, etc.).
  23. Strongly disagree. It is fair game. A 25 year old should not be starting on a high school team.
  24. I wish Denver hired him and it's hilarious Hackett was their choice. McDaniel is a really good head coach and offensive mind. Possibly the best in the game. He's got a different personality than most successful head coaches but the one common trait is players will play hard for him. Like it or not, the Fins will likely be annual contenders with him there similar to Shanahan in SF.
