  1. Defense is too inconsistent. I can’t see Goff winning at SF or Philly.
  2. Cover for owners either too cheap or nostalgic to build indoor stadiums.
  3. Happened to Bryce Brown against KC. It’s a touchback for the defense.
  4. I think the Chiefs win out because of their soft schedule/defense and the Jaguars surprisingly beat the Ravens this Sunday night at home. I see Jacksonville blowing it against the Titans because they're so darn inconsistent (like us). Bengals, Steelers, Colts, and Texans falter down the stretch, I'll go... 1.) Chiefs 2.) Ravens 3.) Jaguars 4.) Bills 5.) Browns (I see them winning 3 of 4) 6.) Broncos 7.) Dolphins
  5. Don't look now but the Raiders are averaging 31.5 points over the last two games.
  6. Three fumbles lost and no effort on defense. They're also down their three best players in Herbert, Allen, and Bosa.
  7. So the Chargers chose Staley over Daboll. Bold move Cotton.
  8. He's good pinning a team inside the 20 this year but he's had some real bad low line drive punts that have lead to some big field position altering returns. The biggest problem is finding a punter you trust to hold for Bass and there's only four games left. You stick with him but there needs to be competition next year in training camp. Whether that's Araiza or one of the other billion out of work punters looking for a job.
  9. It's been a while for a RB. Maybe the Breida TD against the Saints on Thanksgiving a couple years back. It's tough with a mobile QB but Brady should look into it.
  10. Fins fans were actually rooting for us on Sunday so they could stay ahead of the Chiefs for the #1 seed. Be careful what you wish for.
  11. I was being facetious. You never hear about the surface when it occurs on grass.
  12. Would've happened anywhere. If I'm Beane I'd consider giving him a shot next off-season. See if he can still hold for Bass and how well he is with directional punts.
  13. I think part of the frustration after the game is not being able to fix their offense like they assumed they would as the season progressed and it boiled over yesterday. It's enjoyable to watch tbh.
  14. It's possible. He drilled the 48 yarder in the rain against the Eagles but his kickoffs into the end zone weren't through the back like they usually were (also may have had to do with the rain). There may have been some wind in the stadium yesterday as I found it odd Reid didn't let Butker try and kick that 56 yard field goal and punted instead in the first half.
  15. He didn't strike it well. You're right. I still think it would've eeked through from that distance though. I thought it was a great play by Carter.
  16. I didn't like that decision. I'm guessing the percentage of getting 3 points from 62 yards is a lot better than a TD on a Hal Mary. Bass has made plenty from 50 plus that would've likely been good from 62 before. I know the kickers give the head coach a line of demarcation before the game but that would've been an appropriate time to ignore it.
  17. Bass would be 84% (about league average) if Jalen Carter doesn't make a great play on the blocked field goal which shows you why you need a larger sample size when evaluating kickers. Sam Martin I'm way more concerned about going down the stretch.
