  1. Definitely man. These tariffs are absolutely unfortunately necessary to sacrifice a lot of short term pains in order to eventually achieve a more stable long-term pain.
  2. I think it's simpler than your three scenarios. McDermott's going to start the players that he thinks gives them the best chance to win with the personnel he's dealt. His job depends on it. He easily could've started Edwards ahead of Torrence in his rookie year. On the flip side, he easily could've handed the job to Elam his rookie year because he was a first round pick. The evidence just isn't there that McDermott is reluctant to play rookies if he deems them ready.
  3. Good practice if Cook gets traded.
  4. I'd be shocked if Hampton fell this far in the real draft. I wouldn't be surprised if three RB's go in the first round (Jeanty, Hampton, Henderson) with the way the NFL is trending.
  5. With the 44th pick in the 2025 NFL draft the Dallas Cowboys select... Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina You know what they say. Take care of the skill positions first and then build your o-line. After taking a WR in the first round we were thrilled that Humphrey dropped to us here as he reminds us of a cross between Emmitt Smith and Zeke Elliott. We will probably pay him top of the market value on the day of our season opener in 2028. The Colts @CNYfan are now on the clock.
  6. My 401k just turned into a 301k. Government screwing me over. What else is new?
  7. Unless a guy slips you're unlikely to find elite talent at pick #30 at a premium position. I suspect whoever we take will have a good but not great career. I think we took Rousseau at this same spot.
  8. Anybody know if the seats will have cup holders?
  9. I’m against tariffs but this weird obsession that the left has with Trump cozying up to Russia is just bizarre.
  10. They're already heavily sanctioned. I believe North Korea wasn't included for the same reason.
  11. If it came down to these two players than I think Beane would draft Nolan. He's given a lot of lip service to it "starts up front." I wouldn't rule out two DT's (3 tech and 1 tech) with two of our three 1st and 2nd round picks.
  12. The fact that one person can rattle an economy like this is due to Congress not doing its job in the last 30 plus years making this constitutionally possible.
  13. The flip side of that is a RB drafted at pick 63 would get more money that a premium position player would at pick 64 because of the rookie wage scale. It's just the devaluation of the position. Paying elite money to only an above average player is bad business. Especially with RB's.
  14. This board was against that a month ago.
  15. I think it'll be death by a thousand paper cuts unless Trump caves. I'm betting that Trump caves.
  16. They never fail to nauseate me. Their commercials make me appreciate watching paint dry. Josh doesn't win MVP without that iconic rushing TD against them. Oh, and MJ looks even younger than he did on Space Jam.
  17. I'm glad Congress is passing this legislation through though because it would be downright dangerous if all this power was given to one person under the guise of an "emergency."
  18. Reagan is turning in his grave. Individual tax cuts, deregulation, lower corporate tax rate, and free trade is how you build a robust economy.
  19. It's pretty bad when the best case scenario is Trump purposefully tanking the market with a track and cash scheme.
