  1. I think we all know it's not Joe Marino. Lol. Spoiler alert, I'm not Christopher Lloyd.
  2. I would never do it with Sanders's kid because the slight possible upgrade in backup QB is not worth the noise that comes with it. You'd be naive to think there wouldn't be noise as one of the reasons Sanders slipped in the draft was because no team thought he or his father would be fine with him as a backup. Logically, it makes sense maybe 20 years ago but how often do you see NFL teams fall for the Rob Johnson type bait anymore. The four QB's you just quoted were traded before the Obama administration. I can't remember a QB that was taken in the later rounds of the draft that was flipped for a significantly better pick since Schaub. The only thing you really see now are small transactions like the Pats drafted Milton in the 6th round and he was flipped for a 5th with the Cowboys. Maybe 25 years ago he gets flipped for a 1st.
  3. So those dirty safeties don't creep up and it can help open the intermediate space for the other WR's to work. Davis for all his faults didn't take the top off defenses like true burners but was a more credible deep threat than what we have now. John Brown was pry are last WR who had enough juice to take the top off a defense. MVS didn't work out last year.
  4. Totally fair. I just reacted with a shrug because it's not a departure from his personality.
  5. No. That's a straw man argument that Obama himself declared himself as some holy entity. He didn't. Nobody held a gun to Trump's head and said retweet this silly social media post. I could see how deeply religious Catholics could view that as offensive.
  6. Bills haven't even officially claimed they've agreed to terms. I don't even think the contract has been signed yet. Maybe it has to do with the unrestricted free agent tender the Browns placed on him. Who knows but my guess is $3.5m guaranteed with not likely to be earned incentives up to $5m.
  7. I hate having to defend a poster but he didn't say that was the reason they lost those games. There's a reason we were all thrilled when Beane traded for Cooper after those two losses. At the time our WR's were 25th or worse in targets, receptions, receiving yards and receiving first downs. I'm already looking at what WR from another team we can acquire maybe mid season again.
  8. Much cheaper labor in those countries by quite a bit. Even before Trump took office China's exports to the US fell from 20% in 2018 to about 13% in 2023.
  9. India runs children sweatshops too. You may be willing to sacrifice but I guarantee you that most Americans won't. Depending on the poll, the range of Americans living paycheck to paycheck is between 65 to 80%.
  10. He's had at least proven in the past he can put up good but not elite numbers. Being injury prone make it unlikely but of Samuel, Moore, and Palmer he's probably the WR the most potential to have a rebound year. Coleman and Kincaid drastically improving is really the most realistic chance to making this passing game more prolific next season.
  11. He won't have a fun afterlife then.
  12. I really don't know what's worse. Those trying to defend it as if it wasn't a joke or the people on the left that fall for it every time and continue to feed the troll.
  13. Lol. Sounds about right. If it was 2007 it was pry an awful game by Edwards or Losman with the former coach of the year Dick Jauron presiding. Now we're complaining that we miss 1:00 games and that our 5th WR option isn't good enough.
  14. I think it's similar with Rasul Douglas. Think he's washed and/or demanding too much money.
  15. A home game against the Giants where there was heavy rain that started after the first quarter with the temperature right around freezing. I don't know the year or date (late 2000's) maybe. but I remember I was so cold that my brother and I drove home in only our boxers with the heat on high because our clothes were drenched. Once your clothes get wet in that weather you're screwed. The Bills lost the game of course after getting up on them early.
  16. India has significantly lower labor costs (70%) than China. It's a logical place to move your manufacturing production if I was a CEO.
  17. Why exempt tariffs on smart phones and computer imports from China then?
  18. Weird. They actually realize that the importer (themselves) would pay their own tariffs so they simply exempt the tariffs from imports that they need most. It's almost as weird as the US exempting smart phone and computer imports made in China from tariffs because it would hurt the importer (us) the most. I like how we're seeing in real time how dumb starting a tariff war is.
  19. He said good WRs. I know jack squat when it comes to evaluating WR's. Trends are much easier to identify though. If you can find a disappointing WR given where he was drafted that breaks out in year five despite given ample opportunity his first four years to prove himself let me know. Even with bad Browns QB play last year when they targeted Jeudy they had a 94.7% passer rating. When they targeted Moore they had a 42.4% passer rating which put him 98th of 98th qualifying WR's according to PFF. Ideally, if he makes the team he is our 5th WR who I pray will only see the field if one of the top four are injured.
  20. Ok. I take my take back on Beane coming across as thin skinned. These guys had it coming.
  21. Good point. Teams have gotten wiser imo of letting quality WR's hit the open market. Jerry Jeudy is the only other one that comes to mind although he did technically sign an extension before the 5th year of his rookie deal. I think they knew the relationship was done and that he might even take less in guarantees to play for another team. At worst you're stuck together on a pretty team friendly deal. Smart of them to do with the comp pick formula (wish they would do away with comp picks tbh).
  22. He's had over 100 targets the last two years though so those yards aren't that impressive when he did about the same with the Jets on less targets. I don't see him getting 100 targets here. Character concerns scare me with this guy. He forced his way off the Jets and based upon recent reports he wasn't happy in Cleveland's offense either. Two teams invested a 2nd round pick in him and he only played for those teams for two years. I know it's the Jets and the Browns but still. Both seemed to have no problem moving on from him. I think if teams thought he has the potential to be a Superstar we wouldn't be able to get him post draft for such a low base salary. I'll be interested in seeing the contract details to see how much dead cap we would eat if he doesn't make the roster OJ Howard style.
  23. If they need a pregnant woman stand in my wife said she could lose 30 pounds.
  24. So you're saying there's room for improvement. Do the Bills pro scouting department knows what it's doing when it comes to WR? Every year it seems like somebody is trying to sell me a WR who's never had over 900 yards receiving being unlocked because of Josh Allen (Harty, Sherfield, Samuel, MVS, Crowder, Isabella even). I'm hearing the same sales pitch now with Palmer and Moore. The one's that have worked out (Brown, Beasley, Sanders, Diggs) did it before. At least with Hollins I knew the floor was Jake Kumerow so I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised every time he made a play.
  25. If it means more federal holidays than hell yeah. WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, Afghanistan, Civil War. That's seven extra right there.
