Report: Raiders close to a trade for Yannick
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two reasons. They didn't have the cap space to meet his contract demands and the Bears made them an offer that was too good to refuse. Two 1sts, a 3rd, and a 6th. The Raiders pry got the better end of that trade in hindsight. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm guessing based off the limited studies that.... 1.) A lot of people have/had it without symptoms making the death rate anywhere from .1 to .8%. 2.) It's extremely contagious which explains the remarkable number of deaths in a short period of time. 3.) Herd immunity will happen before any type of vaccine is mass produced. -

It's a game that the press and Trump love to play. It can be funny when they're talking about trivial things like inauguration crowd size. It's really irritating during more serious times such as this pandemic. I feel like we're getting mixed messages every day. -
Bold predictions for tonight's first round.

Chargers move up for Tua in trade with Lions (or Giants). Herbert drops all the way down to #18 and Miami takes him there. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

I was thinking more about a second wave if we open up too quickly like what may have happened in Hong Kong, Hokkaido, and Singapore. I'm hopeful the drug remdesivir will continue to show positive results to possibly limit the impact of a 2nd wave in the fall. -

The beefed up unemployment benefits, the massive government business bailout package, and the economy being on solid footing before the pandemic could lead to a quicker than expected economic recovery. We won't be as strong as before but I'm not buying the doomsday predictions at this point. If there's a second wave then we're in trouble. -
Better Call Saul: Season 5 Trailer - 23 Feb
Doc Brown replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I liked Homeland but stopped watching as it became too outlandish in season 6. I think I'll give season 7 and 8 a whirl now since I've heard from a few people it's gotten pretty good again. Everything they set up in the finale leading up to next season suggests they'll meet again as Saul/Kim assume Lalo's assassination went as planned. They just murdered his family so he'll be out for blood. Should be fun. -
Better Call Saul: Season 5 Trailer - 23 Feb

Fantastic season. What's interesting about BCS compared to BB is there's more dark humor in BB when you'd expect the opposite. Obenkirk, Seehorn, and Dalton all deserve award recognition as they were fantastic especially in the last four episodes. I feel like this is the best show on tv that hardly anybody's talking about. Damn Tiger King.
