  1. Common cold? To my knowledge they're testing for presence of SARS-CoV2 which is the novel cornavirus that causes the COVID-19 disease. It has its own specific genetic sequence so they're able to distinguish it from other cornaviruses using the RT-PRC method.
  2. A no brainer would for them to just bring Harlan and Warner in from Westwood One. We already know what we're getting and it would be a significant upgrade.
  3. Not the greatest comparison as I don't think an aspiring doctor or lawyer has to worry about tearing their ACL that could potentially ruin their career.
  4. A few thoughts... 1.) I'm all for reducing draft eligibility from three to two years after graduating high school. College football will still be popular and profitable running their cartel. 2.) Players that don't get drafted should be allowed to return to school if they are finishing their sophomore or junior year. 3.) What about players drafted in the later rounds that get cut and not signed to a practice squad? Was their any discussion of that scenario about them going back to school?
  5. Is it really advantageous having a first year starting quarterback play five prime time games? Also, "no road games in cold weather" doesn't seem like a big deal considering they're built for the cold weather.
  6. Three straight years. Let's not go crazy here.
  7. It took a global pandemic for people to give Goodell credit for anything. LOL. Who cares. Everyone knows who they're voting for at this point anyways. They've replaced the Chiefs as the "how the hell do we play this team every year?" team.
  8. Can we have six? My deepest apologies to Andre and Kelly. If Kelly willed us to victory in any of the three Super Bowls following the Giants one he'd make the cut. OJ Simpson Jack Kemp Bruce Smith Thurman Thomas
  9. If there is a significantly shortened offseason they pry keep three qb's. If not, hit the road Barkley. Fromm will impress enough to supplant Barkley.
  10. Spike in new cases or deaths as increased testing capabilities could be responsible. I'm pretty bullish when it comes to working as quickly as possible to open things up, but we have to wear masks and social distance or we'll be back to square one. The "no masks" crowd drives me nuts.
  11. Generally when you give percentages you want them to equal 100%. My guess at this point is the season will start on time without crowds. Maybe by the time the 2nd half of the season starts they'll do a lottery system or something and fill 25% of the stadium requiring every 4th seat or so.
  12. Me neither. The return of Tyrod, Watkins, and Woods. First time Carroll will coach here since he coached the Pats in '99. Steelers home game atmosphere is always great.
  13. What about the other 23%? Games played without crowds.
  14. White on white because it might get hot. I fully expect the Bills to go full ###### again this year and have two red color rush home games.
  15. Seems to me the people unwilling to wear a mask seem to be the one's most bullish on reopening everything asap.
  16. You're probably right but just seeing Apple and Google work together on developing a contact tracing app is a miracle in itself. It's like watching Apollo and Rocky working together to beat Mr. T.
  17. Not bad. Nailed two of the four prime time opponents.
  18. The first four games we pry will be favored so naturally they'll pry be pushed back.
  19. The NFL is smart to do this as I love the optimism of scheduling games like usual for September. They basically have two contingency plans depending on the severity of the tomhanksvirus. If they can't start the season until October they can push the four NFC games at the start of the schedule to the end of it in January. If it can't start until November they can have a shortened 12 game season playing only AFC teams. I expect us to have more home games in the first half of the season than the second half due to fear of January weather in Buffalo.
  20. Got ya. Thanks for clarifying.
  21. I just did and there seemed to be no follow up studies on any of them regarding possible incubation period. Nevertheless, it's just more evidence it's highly contagious, asymptomatic to most people who contract it, and we're pry closer to herd immunity than we realize. It should give policy makers more incentive to open things up as quickly as possible.
  22. I wonder how many tested were still in the incubation period. I hope they follow up on it.
