Jackson's impressed me since he entered the league as his throwing mechanics continue to improve since his junior year in college. His accuracy/ball placement has improved because of it and he still has more room to grow. His arm strength was never a question. Remind you of anyone? He's going to be a special player if he stays healthy. Him and Allen will be the best two QB's of this draft when all is said and done. We had a pretty thorough discussion about this in another thread where the root of the student debt crisis that accelerated after the '08 crash was a racket scheme created by the federal government and the banks that give low interest rate student loans to those who don't deserve them. Yes, one of the arguments of forgiving student debt is for disposable income to bolster the economy. My proposed solution was to loosen the bankruptcy rules so you should be able to declare bankruptcy from student debt in the same way you can for credit cards. It didn't gain much traction in this mostly conservative forum but it's better than just pure forgiveness of loans. We talked about more transitional resources into high school that gives kids a more realistic aspect of the best career options moving forward instead of going into a liberal arts program in college that you'll never use.

The playoff round games gets the highest ratings on Sunday nights so they'd sacrifice ratings (hence money), the host city would lose money without people partying Saturday, and messing with tradition is something the NFL doesn't like to do unless they see a clear profit win for doing so. If they move a team to London they may consider a Saturday game and have it start a little earlier around 5 or so. I think it was after the Bills/Giants SB when they moved it from 5:30 to 6:30.

I was at the position before where I didn't care if they had a draft in a Holiday Inn in Scranton, PA. I could care less about the tradition of having it in NYC. Making it an event in different cities who usually don't get to host Superbowls was one of the NFL's better ideas. I also like them moving city to city because it gives fans of nearby franchises a chance to take a road trip and attend the draft which I'll do in Cleveland in 2021. Weo was questioning the financial side of things where it can be argued that the money the city has to put up (most often using tax payers money) to host a Superbowl or Draft is not made up for in revenue gained. Some cities have lost money hosting Superbowls before. From everything I read that wasn't the case in Nashville and both local businesses, hotels, and the tax dollars generated a net positive income flow for the city. The NFL actually paid for most of the expenditures which was surprising to me as it seems they view it as an opportunity to expand their brand even more.
