  1. If that was the reason you were pulled over. Yes.
  2. The nation's leading expert on infectious diseases and member of the White House's coronavirus task force says the pandemic could kill 100,000 to 200,000 Americans and infect millions. Dr. Anthony Fauci said based on modeling of the current pace of the coronavirus' spread in the U.S., "between 100,000 and 200,000" people may die from COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
  3. That was two weeks earlier than when I was talking about. It just shows how unpredictable this thing was. They eventually revised to to 60,000 something and now it's over 250k. 4. That's typical with a novel virus. The only epidemiologists I respected were the one's that admitted they didn't know. It was Fauci/Birx task force who predicted it and it's likely they underestimated it when all is said and done. They were just going off the models at the time.
  5. The MLB's been doing well lately after a rocky start. I'm more optimistic now than I was a week ago. I'm a casual college football fan but would prefer Saturday NFL games every week.
  6. Confirmed cases. It's pry between 5 to 15% nationwide who've contracted the virus based off the various antibody studies. The Trump administration task force projected with mitigation efforts anywhere from 100,000 to 200,000 covid deaths based on the model in late March. We're at a little over 165,000 right now.
  7. Yes. They left it up to the states with just a blanket recommendation of halting evictions of those who can't pay their rent due to Covid. In NYS you can't evict anybody until August 20th.
  8. The thing I love about Duke is his old school mentality of just making a routine catch, tossing the ball to the ref, and hurry up back to the huddle.
  9. Out of curiosity, how many of your tenants didn't pay rent since Covid hit compared to normal times? I just own one duplex that I rent out and the couple downstairs were able to finally pay the water bill after stalling for five months because of the jacked up unemployment benefits.
  10. I said when Trump was first elected that he's too much like Obama that when his party doesn't control both houses he'll resort to executive orders (but on steroids). The power will continue to be shifted to the executive branch because of the increased polarization in both parties incentives Congress gridlock.
  11. It's "football team" fans now you racist.
  12. That's good news. We can just sign him to the vet minimum every year.
  13. I'm pry the minority in this thread but Diggs is still pretty important.
  14. Yeah. Those people are frauds. To say that Biden's against god though is just bad politics on Trump's part. He's making Joe a sympathetic figure.
  15. They like that he punches back to what they see as an increasing secular society more similar to European countries.
  16. Does he have enough arm strength to send Barkley packing? That's all I care about.
  17. Ironically, the "tough on crime bill" he helped write through was his biggest accomplishment as the reduction in crime was at least in part due to that bill and now he's running away from it.
  18. He scored a 33 on the Wonderlic and the Pats offense was also complicated so I'm sure he can handle it. Palmer and Warner thrived in Arians's offense so the pressure is on. No excuses.
  19. Frown at? Yeah. Would Beane be breaking any rules? No. It's more likely if Beane contacts him it's to assure him of what safeguards will be in place. I have a bad feeling he opts out as he seems freaked out by this virus.
  20. If this is financial then he's a great actor judging by his interview today. He's just freaked out by the virus and how it will impact his family. It's pry as simple as that. Used in this context it is fine. Used as dismissing 150K plus deaths is completely different.
  21. Bad use of words. The studies I've seen show that kids are 1/3 to 1/2 less likely than adults to catch the virus and far less likely than that to infect somebody with it. From what we know at this point the death rate of Covid for children who catch the virus is extremely low.
  22. There's a lot of misinformation out there too and I don't even know if he knows that kids are pretty much immune from this virus. Going to the practice facility is a lot different than playing actual football and traveling to other cities.
