  1. Imagine if it was unanimous? Whoever voted for Allen (even though I don't agree with him - thought it should be McCaffrey) deserves a medal for not falling into groupthink.
  2. No. He's a free agent so he's likely out of our price range.
  3. That's where you come in. Put up or shut up
  4. If Allen just checked it down to Diggs. Ugghhh. It sucks going down that rabbit hole.
  5. Always thought it was a strange hire as Wilks didn't have experience with the Seattle cover 3 system that Saleh and Ryans ran that matched their personnel well. Thought he would promote from within like he did Ryans. I thought there might be trouble when Shanahan forced Wilks to move from the booth to the field. Usually a coordinator makes that decision on his own. The optics for Shanahan look bad immediately following a Super Bowl loss but you could say the same about McDermott firing Dorsey (or Frazier). Doesn't mean it was the wrong decision and there's never really never a good time to do it.
  6. Wow. Terrible day on what was supposed to be a joyous occasion. I pray for all those kids being treated in the hospital right now.
  7. Not really because the team that goes on offense second knows what it has to do in college. There's no perfect system but the NFL playoff overtime system is the best I've seen so far in any version of football.
  8. God that injury sucked. We might have a Super Bowl right now if he doesn't take a wrong step in Detroit.
  9. I was going to make a sarcastic one like we should make OJ a Legend of the Game but I'll go with we should take the loss and release Von Miller as a post June 1st cut. He's toast guys and we could use that 6.8 million when Beane goes dumpster diving in June.
  10. We lose the division if we don’t beat the Chiefs this season. Of course they mean something.
  11. Same goes for the Chiefs on their first possession. The sudden death aspect on the third possession is too big of an advantage not to take the ball first imho.
  12. Why not the Ravens right there with us and the Bengals?
  13. We never fielded a team good enough to win the Super Bowl with the Pats so all things equal that’s why I hate the Chiefs more. Brady wasn’t as insufferable as Mahomes but I like Reid more than Belichick.
  14. There was nothing stopping the 49ers from treating every new set of downs as four down territory on the first drive of overtime.
  15. I blame the Bears for trading up for Trubisky.
  16. Third in AFC behind KC and Baltimore. A little surprised we're above the Lions. Here are the top 10 and the rest of the AFC East. Best value? I'm going Packers. San Francisco 49ers +600 Kansas City Chiefs +850 Baltimore Ravens +1000 Buffalo Bills +1200 Cincinnati Bengals +1500 Detroit Lions +1700 Miami Dolphins +2000 Dallas Cowboys +2000 Philadelphia Eagles +2200 Green Bay Packers +2500 New York Jets +3000 New England Patriots +12500
  17. Correct. If you're Shanahan and convinced Mahomes will score every time you receive the ball, score a TD, and go for two. If the Chiefs match the eight points then you get the ball in a sudden death situation with a chance to win it without Mahomes getting the ball again.
  18. The same people who are saying there's no way it's going to happen with McDermott/Beane running things are the same people who thought there's no way we win out to even make the playoffs sitting at 6-6. Ignore them.
  19. Imagine if Diggs did this to McDermott......
  20. Not if the Chiefs tie it with a field goal. If it goes field goal field goal then the next score wins. Would you rather have the ball or not have the ball in that situation? It's different than college.
  21. This exactly. You receive the ball every time. I can't even believe this is a debate.
