Will we pay Poyer or won't we?
Doc Brown replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane rewarding Poyer will send a message to the team that if you consistently produce for us you'll be rewarded. I see an extension similar to Hughes at the beginning of last year. Maybe a three year extension to lock him up for four seasons until he's 33 with a low dead cap amount his final year. Something like a three year extension for 34 million (24 million guaranteed). That puts him at about 9 million a year. -
It's going to be interesting what the Titans do. The pounding he's taken since college because of his running style and workload historically leads to a shorter shelf life in the NFL. Earl Campbell comes to mind. They may very well sign him long term. If they don't, I could see them franchising him and then pulling a Khalil Mack type trade to a willing participant. I don't think the Bills would be willing to give up that many assets and money to a running back even with the talent level of Henry.

For anybody interested here's the Athletic's ratings of the same players from first to worst using a GPA scale. The only disparities that jump out to me is PFF is higher on McKenzie while lower on Singletary, Knox, and Spain. They both agree that Ford had a rough rookie year. 1.) Singletary - 3.34 (66.0) 2.) Brown - 3.18 (75.8) 3.) Dawkins - 3.16 (73.3) 4.) Beasley - 3.00 (73.6) 5.) Knox - 2.96 (60.0) 6.)Nsekhe - 2.92 (67.3) 7. Morse - 2.90 (66.4) 8.) Spain - 2.85 (55.4) 9.) Allen 2.82 (64.2) 10.) Duke - 2.81 (65.3) 11.) McKenzie - 2.80 (68.8) 12.) Feliciano - 2.65 (64.1) 13.) Ford - 2.23 (52.4)

Antonio Brown: Apology Tour - Preparing for return?
Doc Brown replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dodged a bullet with AB and it hit the Raiders. OBJ seems more like someone only happy in a bigger market. Happy to save the picks. -
The Republican primary debates in 2011-2012 averaged around 5 million viewers so I'm assuming only the political junkies are actually interested in these primary debates (unless Trump is involved of course). It'll skyrocket once the nominee is chosen and the presidential debates happen. That's why the media spin and the headlines that follow are usually more important than the debate itself. Most malleable voters start paying attention to the two possible candidates after labor day of the election year.

The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump
Doc Brown replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think you're right but McConnell said he wanted the process to resemble the impeachment trial for Clinton where all 13 GOP House Managers sent were sworn in. If anything, it's a good civics lesson for any Americans interested. -
The Impeachment Trial of President Donald J. Trump
Doc Brown replied to Nanker's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The obvious response to that is McConnell should recuse himself because he already said he has no intention of being an impartial juror. It'll be a complete $hitshow just like the Clinton impeachment trial. -
So whatever will happen to "Right Josh" Rosen?
Doc Brown replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How he even sees his WR's blows me away with his height and lack of mobility. I'm not comparing him to Rosen. Just pointing out an immobile QB can still thrive in the right system. I highly doubt Rosen succeeds in this league as a starter, but I wouldn't give up on him at this point. -
LOL. Reminds me of a Curb episode with Bernie as Larry and Steyer as Super Dave. "I just want to say hi Bernie." --- "Yeah good, okay." The whole thing is very odd as it looks like to me they think they're both telling the truth. 7.3 million apparently. More than double the population of Iowa.

So we shouldn’t expect this to win an Emmy I take it. To think this is the channel that once helped elevate Guns N Roses.

They've moved away from it but you can still succeed at a high level with the right offense around you. Brees comes to mind. Matt Ryan had a decent season but their defense let them down in the first half of the year. He'd be the perfect backup/understudy to Rodgers then. -
I agree but Bill Belichick isn't going to show up to a Bills practice with binoculars. They hate him and I actually thought this whole Warren/Bernie controversy was ginned up by a Hillary corporate Dem type. Who knows.
-
Because it was too obvious. Even with an all white crew it was still the first potential gay, Jewish, and Native American nominee for a major party.
-
The debut of "The Real World" in the early 90's ruined that channel.
-
Could be just a bad/robotic debate monitor having prepared questions unable to adjust on the fly. This whole Bernie is a sexist narrative Warren's campaign is trying to create to energize democratic female voters is going to backfire.

Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
Doc Brown replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How are those coal jobs you promised would come back doing there Trump? -
I don't blame him as you strike when the iron's hot being only 30. My guess is they cut Cam Newton to save 19 million in cap room and draft either Tua, Herbert, or Fromm. BTW, talk about a fall from grace from the 2015 team who I thought at the time would be to multiple SB's with Cam and Kuechly.
