The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I'm just wondering the legality of it if the employee feels the job is unsafe to return because of the coronavirus. What kind of protections do employers have? Can employees sue the employer if they contract the virus after returning to work? Can family members of a dead employee sue the employer who returned to work? -

True but the state can take their unemployment benefits away if they refuse to return to work because it would be considered a voluntary quit. -

They're slowly reopening in the middle of May. She's been widely praised for the early lockdown measures because of the number of low covid 19 deaths in Oregon relative to other states. -

That was an Illinois protester as their governor is Jewish. I don't believe Whitmer is. Disgusting none the less but you can't take one idiot and apply that to every protester. If states start demanding people go back to work while the deaths are still this high you're going to see even more protests. -
Thanks for the memories I'll never forget that Chargers game when the power went out and all you could see in the restroom was the light from the cell phones. One thing I'll add is I remember that season in retrospect is we beat teams early one we thought were better than they really were at the time early on. We dominated the Seahawks in the opener who were a five years in a row playoff who ended up finishing 4-12. Then we won at Jacksonville who was 11-5 the year before that finished 5-11. We squeaked by a bad Raiders team and dominated a horrible Rams team on the road.

It'll be Stidham's team. He beat out Hoyer for the backup role last year so they obviously see potential there. McDaniels has had a year to groom him learning behind Brady. He was a projected potential first round pick going into his junior season but regressed that year. The Pats will rely heavily on their defense and running game like they did in Brady's first couple of seasons.

USA Todays Luke Easterling Nailed 3 of our picks in Mock

Isn't he the guy who had us taking Metcalf at pick 9 last year? -
Final result of the Marcel Dareus trade for Buffalo:
Doc Brown replied to warrior9's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dareus was coming off a 10 sack season, two pro bowls, and was only 25. If I was the GM I'd pay that guy top money also at that point unless there was some indication he'd get lazy. Sometimes you don't know until after the fact. -

Trudeau said that while most firearms owners are law-abiding citizens, “you don’t need an AR-15 to bring down a deer.” Clearly, he's never seen me shoot. -

If they counted flu deaths the same way they are Covid 19 deaths that season would've confirmed 15,620 deaths from flu strains that 2017-2018 season which was the highest this century. The flu aint got nothing on this. -
Bills 2020 Motto per McDermott "Find a Way"

-We're using zoom for virtual meetings. -Stefon Diggs is a good player based on his production. -We think Josh Norman can be helpful in our system. -Continuity is important on the offensive line. -Beasley is moving to #11 after we got rid of Zones. Really revealing stuff. -
If you get paid more from unemployment than sitting home and watching Netflix you're pry rooting for these lock down orders to stay in place. From an economic standpoint, I don't blame them. If I was in that situation, I'd go back to work for free if I was still getting that unemployment check that paid more.

The jury's still out on Allen but if you compare Allen's stats last year with Dalton's career average you'll see that you're getting more with Allen because of his rushing ability. Dalton's always had the benefit of a true #1 WR with AJ Green along with a solid defense under Marvin Lewis. You saw what happened to him when he lost both last year. Allen's ceiling is high enough to regularly compete for a Super Bowl while Dalton has proven he can only take a team so far (0-4 in the playoffs). I'd still take Dalton as our backup in a heartbeat though.

I read the article but didn't listen to the interview. What did he say in the interview that wasn't in the article that makes you think he's giving other teams a competitive advantage? -

"Hey Jim. Did you hear McDermott's motto? Find a way. That's it. We're switching from cover 3 to man on 3rd down." -

This should be his campaign slogan. -
Yeah. Not bad a year out. Nobody saw Burrow coming. I do question the first sentence of the dolphins pick though. "With quarterback Josh Rosen now on the roster I don't see the Dolphins needing a quarterback at No. 1."

McCoy loved snow games. Now for the QB's...... Newton before they crippled him. Brian Urlacher would love to have this one back. Let's see Rodgers do this. The only thing more embarrassing...those uniforms
