What about the other 23%? Games played without crowds. -
Predict the home opener uniforms
Doc Brown replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
White on white because it might get hot. I fully expect the Bills to go full ###### again this year and have two red color rush home games. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

You're probably right but just seeing Apple and Google work together on developing a contact tracing app is a miracle in itself. It's like watching Apollo and Rocky working together to beat Mr. T. -
Buffalo Bills Official 2020 Schedule
Doc Brown replied to Do The Reich Thing's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The first four games we pry will be favored so naturally they'll pry be pushed back. -
The NFL is smart to do this as I love the optimism of scheduling games like usual for September. They basically have two contingency plans depending on the severity of the tomhanksvirus. If they can't start the season until October they can push the four NFC games at the start of the schedule to the end of it in January. If it can't start until November they can have a shortened 12 game season playing only AFC teams. I expect us to have more home games in the first half of the season than the second half due to fear of January weather in Buffalo.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just did and there seemed to be no follow up studies on any of them regarding possible incubation period. Nevertheless, it's just more evidence it's highly contagious, asymptomatic to most people who contract it, and we're pry closer to herd immunity than we realize. It should give policy makers more incentive to open things up as quickly as possible. -

I wonder how many tested were still in the incubation period. I hope they follow up on it. -

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19

Right and blizzards are rare so I have no problem with that. Just like I don't have a problem temporarily it being a requirement to wear a mask in public spaces during the outbreak of a novel virus. A virus that we still don't know much about other than it's highly contagious, can be carried by those asymptomatic, and at least has a death rate of .1% minimum. The minor inconvenience of wearing a mask to cover my mouth and nose in public spaces is a sacrifice I'm willing to make to take in order to get this economy back up and running. -

How do you feel about smoking bans in public places? -

No. Just during the actual blizzard. You know, like wearing masks in close public spaces during an actual pandemic. -

No argument there. Different situations are indeed different. -

Driving bans during blizzards is just the first step on the road to communism and tyrannical rule. -

Pretty much every winter except this last one during blizzards. -

Opinions on a hypothetical trade
Doc Brown replied to offsides#76FredSmerlas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depends on the circumstance. Joe Montana had enough value for the 49ers to get a first round pick for him knowing they had Steve Young ready to go. Jaguars traded Rob Johnson while he had value for a 1st and a 4th with Mark Brunell already at the helm. Cowboys traded Herschel Walker when he had value because they needed a stock load of picks to build their team. We traded Watkins and Darby for a 2nd and 3rd round pick when they had value. I don't know if I'd consider John Brown a reliable Chevy given he too has an injury history, but I'd rather have him at a cheaper price than AJ Green at this point. Especially given his chemistry with Allen and the uncertainty surrounding AJ Green's health. -
Dolphins Reveal Plans for Attendance at Games This Year

Can't wait for the Packers plans. You can do the Lambeau Leap but you might just end up bouncing against the wall and risk being paralyzed. -
Can of StarKist tuna in water, drain water, spoonful of mayo, mix, spread on white bread, place on toast in toaster oven for about 5 minutes. Enjoy. No. I'm American.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I vote Democrat but this shouldn't be a political issue as it should be data driven. If I was a policy maker right now I think there's enough data out there that we should push for reopening asap and following Sweden's model to reach herd immunity asap before we do even more long term damage to our economy. A vaccine (which is basically a shortcut to herd immunity) is too far down the road and that's assuming we can develop one. If a similar amount of people are going to die, I'd rather see a spike in deaths immediately and get back to regular life than long term lockdowns where the same amount of people die at a slower rate. -

First, they overestimate the deaths. Then they underestimate the deaths. The IMHE model I believe they're using fell outside the 95% confidence interval 70% of the time when projecting number of deaths in individual states. That's a horrible model. Why are they still using it when setting policy?
