  1. Won't change a vote. Who cares as his anti-intellectualism is part of his appeal.

  3. She'd bite the head off a bat if it would guarantee her the presidency. Well, Vince Foster alone.
  4. I didn't mention BLM or even whether it was a hoax or not. I don't care. How does that tweet help him in any way? I'm talking about simple strategy here going into November.
  5. There will be riots if he's reelected. My only hope is it's a really fricken cold week in November.
  6. Nobody would've cared because she won the popular vote also. I want the electoral college to stay because it's always been funny to me seeing the elitist candidates try and connect with the farmers in Iowa. Warning: Disturbing photo
  7. I haven't read through this thread because of the stupidity of this title. He'll leave if he loses and start Trump TV. The over the top histrionics has got to stop.
  8. This will definitely help him with the key suburban women voters that won Dems the House in 2018.
  9. Just the practice squad as I'm assuming they'll expand it to at least 15 players. I'd make it 20 in case a bunch of players come down with it at once.
  10. There are studies that have been done where they send out identical resumes to employers where the only difference is whether it's a white sounding name or a black sounding name. This study in particular found that white sounding names got a callback for every 10 resumes sent out where black sounding names got a callback for every 15 resumes sent out.
  11. Deshaun Watson is the second biggest winner today. Mahomes is making about 42 million a year so Deshaun should demand at least 40 million. O'Brien will pry give him 50.
  12. That's the only way a 10 year extension makes sense. KC better draft well.
  13. That was my first thought. Maybe his salary is a certain % of the salary cap each year guaranteeing he continues to get fair market value (maybe 18 to 20% of the team's cap).
  14. Warriors Monuments Redtails In all seriousness though Bullets or Redskin Scalpers would be fine.
  15. They were lukewarm on him until he requested a trade and now he sucks. I'd have to go back to the drops and compare them to Knox's to get a good understanding of how much he struggled. Then he won't be traded because nobody will give him a decent contract because he hasn't proved anything yet.
  16. This happened a couple of years ago and I believe those books were required readings as part of the English curriculum. None of Twain's other works were and all of these books are available to read in their school libraries.
  17. It'll be fine although I thought the same thing about the coronavirus.
  18. That's some strange logic as one may improve or both may improve. It depends on the individual. I disagree in the potential as I see Njoku as slightly more athletic than Knox with a larger catch radius and a quicker burst. Knox is the better blocker. Njoku isn't getting a new contract because he hasn't done anything yet. Too many mouths to feed in Cleveland so he wants to go to a new team to prove himself to get a big 2nd contract. I'd only do it for a 5th (or a 4th in 2022) given the concerns you brought up.
  19. Plus AJ Klein who played under McDermott. His potential is off the charts and it's a low risk/high reward move IF we can get him for a 5th round pick which may be all they can get for him.
  20. Plus, iron sharpens iron according to McDermott so having him compete with Njoku would be a win/win for both players.
  21. To some. Yeah. There's been Native American groups pushing them to change the name since the early 90's when they whooped us in the Super Bowl. If I was Daniel Snyder though I'd change it to the Washington Bullets to piss everybody off.
  22. There was a contradictory study done last February with double the sample size. Get ready for the Tomahawk Chop being banned. New University of Michigan research reveals high rates of opposition to not only the use of gestures and chants, but also to Native American mascots and team names like the NFL’s Washington Redskins. The results run contrary to polls reported by national news outlets, which suggest that as few as 10% of Native peoples are offended by Native mascots and, specifically, the Redskins team name. The study, which involved researchers at U-M and University of California, Berkeley, found that about half of the respondents in the sample of 1,000 Native Americans—the largest of its kind to date—are offended by the tomahawk chop or mascots in chief headdresses. But opposition is even higher among people who most strongly identify with being Native American. For example, among Native Americans who frequently engage in tribal/cultural practices, 67% find the Redskins team name offensive; 70% find sports fans wearing chief headdresses offensive; 65% find sports fans chanting the tomahawk chop offensive; and 73% find sports fans imitating Native American dances offensive.
