Sweet. We can call up Hyde four times.
-
His body language always seems to be like that though. I remember a must win game for Dallas game at Philly at the end of the 2019 season where he just looked really disinterested on the sidelines. He played horribly and that kind of soured me on him ever since. I know Bills fans love him right now in that he fills a much needed role on this offense but I'd be really hesitant to give him a big contract this off-season.

Good. A Pats win ensures they don't get the first pick in the draft and they hopefully stick with Mayo has head coach. I'd hate for them to do something smart and hire Ben Johnson or Joe Brady.

Or this one...... Can't teach those instincts.

I think Mahomes, Burrow, and Lamar make the Pro Bowl. Josh wins MVP and we beat Ravens in divisional round. Lose to Chiefs in AFC Championship game.

What is Josh Allen worth in wins and losses?
Doc Brown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
One thing that impresses me about Burrow is his willingness to take big hits and hold on to the ball as long as he does. He has a lot of sacks because of that but imo he knows when not to hold onto the ball depending on down, distance, and game situation. Injuries are always a major concern though because of that. -
McD confirms Allen to start against the Pats

Hear me out - QB bootleg on first play for 70 yard TD. They'll never see it coming. -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
Doc Brown replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Once 13 Seconds happened that narrative is hard to overcome. I worry more this year in particular that Brady, Smiley, and McDermott have to be on the same page late in games. I don't want to repeat the errors of our only two one score losses this year but there seemed to be a communication problem whether it was the plays that were called or having the right personnel on the field. They've got to clean that up or we'll probably get our hearts ripped out again in a close playoff game. -
Now that the 53 is set, predict the Bills win total
Doc Brown replied to Cash's topic in The Stadium Wall
The thought was the Bills, Jets, and Fish would cannibalize each other. We should've realized it was still the Jets and Tua was still made of glass. -
It would be so funny if the Jets hire Rex Ryan over Ben Johnson.

I get it but the NFL is a business. One day's extra rest doesn't really move the needle historically as far as covering the spread goes. Having a MNF game playoff and then having to play the next Sunday would be much more impactful.

He'd pry have them coach the Sabres if it was logistically possible. -

I agree with Cowherd and he'd be on the hot seat if I was the owner. I just don't see Pegula firing him after this year though unless the request comes from Josh Allen. We're talking about a guy that can't even find an NHL head coach to make the playoffs in the 13 years he's been their owner. And if they were both fired there would be at least three to five teams that would hire them right away as a package deal. -
True. For Bills fans let's just hope that Woody Johnson isn't appointed as an ambassador any time soon.

I don't know what the salary cap implications are but the first thing I'd do after the season is cut Rodgers, Adams, Lazard, and fire every member of the coaching staff. This will hopefully signal to potential head coaching candidates and GM's they aren't interested in short term fixes anymore. You need a GM and head coach that can convince the young talent they do have (Wilson, Sauce, Johnson, McDonald, Quincy, Hall, Reed, etc.) they're committed to building a sustainable winning culture. Give Mike Vrabel a blank check to be the head coach because that's the type of personality they need right now. Then go out and sign a well liked bridge quarterback (Tyrod Taylor would actually be perfect) and draft a QB of the future. Teams can turn around quick with the right GM, head coach, and young quarterback. Look at Washington this year. Look at the Texans the year before. Or they can run it back and we can continue laughing at the absolute disaster that the organization is right now. That's how pathetic this organization has become. Robert Saleh has become a sympathetic figure in all this and he absolutely should be.

What I love about models is you can always say in this instance, "Well, I guess that one in ten chance happened." It's a great way to make predictions and never be wrong.
-
Exactly and that's why I expect Mayo to screw it up and win the game against our backups.
-
Just glad Netflix doesn't have the game with RG3 predicting the Jackson 5. Lol. In theory, they may have sat Lamar if they knew ahead of time the Steelers lost to the Bengals because that would lock up the 3 seed. The more I go through this I don't think it matters at all as far as fairness goes.

Coleman shows up Allen on first TD target
Doc Brown replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall
I like Josh Allen too but the fawning is getting a little bit ridiculous. Lol. -
Even if they played at the same time I'm assuming the Steelers already know there's no way in hell the Ravens are losing to the DTR led Browns.
-
Sounds like rich people's problems which I'm fine with. I think the Ravens having to play all their starters is a bigger benefactor to us than worrying about one day's extra rest.
-
They could schedule the Ravens the following Saturday though and the Bills on Sunday. Equal time rest.
