  1. It's an ambiguous statement and I wonder why they didn't make it more specific. Such as....."In the absence of a traditional nuclear family structure we should pull together as a community to support the most vulnerable among us"....or something like that. Saying "We are committed to disrupting the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure..." implies to me they want to move away from that system.
  2. Correct. I'd be much more comfortable with the Bills supporting and celebrating traditional civil rights organizations like the NAACP.
  3. Then why'd you ask for the seven day average and not the 5000 day average? I assume hospitals are competent enough to report covid deaths within seven days. So, if you want to know what direction cases and deaths are going the seven day metric is the most effective measure. It shows deaths are increasing but cases are going down/flattening.
  4. It's just odd that you asked for the seven day average to clear things up and then you ask for the 30 day average which makes me think you have no clue what you're talking about.
  5. You asked for the seven day average and that's what it was. Do your own damn math from now on. Internal polling must not be good.
  6. He played for 15 million last year. Seahawks were/are trying to sign him around that range. Rumors are that the Browns are offering in the 18 million dollar range. He was seeking around 21 million at the start of free agency. It would take at least 17 million to get him to come to Buffalo with maybe some incentives built in.
  7. He's a pretty good game manager then because Shanahan's 23-6 with Garoppolo starting and 2-23 without him starting. To be fair Beathard, Hoyer, and Mullens are backups at best but that's still a pretty jarring statistic. If Belichick had his way we'd be forced to deal with him for the next decade.
  8. You're at least seven million short if you could get him here on a one year deal.
  9. Seven day average with cases. Cases are down. Deaths are up. 7/23-7/29 - 910.4 deaths per day (53,381 cases per day) 7/16-7/22 - 695.1 deaths per day (56,722 cases per day)
  10. True but I always felt that he had more self discipline than people give him credit for. The best example I can think of is where he never mentioned Mueller on twitter until well into his investigation. I guess not though and it's a shame because the federal response has been pretty good but the messaging has been terrible.
  11. It's not a good look complaining about your numbers in the middle of a pandemic. I don't know if he grasps that concept. Stick to the script Trump.
  12. If the NFL is up and running that means the virus is somewhat contained and he'll pry eke out a victory. It's science.
  13. https://www.ndtv.com/world-news/us-coronavirus-deaths-rise-by-1-200-for-first-time-since-may-2270471 Not surprising as deaths lag behind cases. Cases are now on the decline in most of the hot spot states.
  14. None of that stuff really matters. Here's my prediction: If there's no football - Biden wins. If there is - Trump wins.
  15. He's handled this well. My prediction is a desperate team will take on his salary in a trade for him next offseason. Maybe the Cowboys gives GB an offer they can't refuse.
  16. The question is why he didn't want to be in the building and that's on the Jets. Same thing goes for Ramsey in Jacksonville. Must've been a bidding war for both as you'd think the Jets and Jags would have less leverage because they were disgruntled.
  17. I'll be a guinea pig. You could get paid $1,100 to test the first potential coronavirus vaccine
  18. True but how is that any different than hospital staff? Just based off that article. That's the current death rate of children in Florida. It's not going to be easy and it's why they're pushing ahead to open with major precautions. The CDC recommends that schools not reopening would do more damage to children than reopening.
  19. Take it to PPP and the back to school thread as there's a plethora of studies at this point showing that kids are less likely to catch it than adults and even more less likely to transfer it. What does that have to do with the death rate of kids with the flu compared to covid-19?
  20. That's a death rate of .016 for kids. That's less than the flu.
