  1. They're valuing the potential loss of more money (lawsuits) over the money they know they'll lose.
  2. My guess is the hope that fans could be let in by next Spring so they can collect that ticket revenue many programs rely on.
  3. They nailed it for the most part. Especially the white. I like the extra stitching on the Buffalo. A minor complaint is the the two random white lines feel unnecessary. I was a big fan of the late 90's jerseys but this is pry their best jersey combination ever.
  4. I always think of Orwell's "two minute hate" for regular Fox News or MSNBC regular viewers.
  5. Well put. My guess is the officer thought he was on some type of illegal drug and arrested him to get a blood draw. What confuses me is why it took them 67 days to clear all charges.
  6. You guys aren't exactly disproving the stereotype that the GOP base is mostly comprised of older white guys
  7. Think they'll have Deniro on zoom talking to an empty chair?
  8. The nation's leading expert on infectious diseases and member of the White House's coronavirus task force says the pandemic could kill 100,000 to 200,000 Americans and infect millions. Dr. Anthony Fauci said based on modeling of the current pace of the coronavirus' spread in the U.S., "between 100,000 and 200,000" people may die from COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
  9. That was two weeks earlier than when I was talking about. It just shows how unpredictable this thing was. They eventually revised to to 60,000 something and now it's over 250k. The nation's leading expert on infectious diseases and member of the White House's coronavirus task force says the pandemic could kill 100,000 to 200,000 Americans and infect millions. 10. That's typical with a novel virus. The only epidemiologists I respected were the one's that admitted they didn't know. It was Fauci/Birx task force who predicted it and it's likely they underestimated it when all is said and done. They were just going off the models at the time.
  11. The MLB's been doing well lately after a rocky start. I'm more optimistic now than I was a week ago. I'm a casual college football fan but would prefer Saturday NFL games every week.
  12. Confirmed cases. It's pry between 5 to 15% nationwide who've contracted the virus based off the various antibody studies. The Trump administration task force projected with mitigation efforts anywhere from 100,000 to 200,000 covid deaths based on the model in late March. We're at a little over 165,000 right now.
  13. Yes. They left it up to the states with just a blanket recommendation of halting evictions of those who can't pay their rent due to Covid. In NYS you can't evict anybody until August 20th.
  14. The thing I love about Duke is his old school mentality of just making a routine catch, tossing the ball to the ref, and hurry up back to the huddle.
  15. Out of curiosity, how many of your tenants didn't pay rent since Covid hit compared to normal times? I just own one duplex that I rent out and the couple downstairs were able to finally pay the water bill after stalling for five months because of the jacked up unemployment benefits.
  16. I said when Trump was first elected that he's too much like Obama that when his party doesn't control both houses he'll resort to executive orders (but on steroids). The power will continue to be shifted to the executive branch because of the increased polarization in both parties incentives Congress gridlock.
  17. I'm pry the minority in this thread but Diggs is still pretty important.
  18. Yeah. Those people are frauds. To say that Biden's against god though is just bad politics on Trump's part. He's making Joe a sympathetic figure.
