I don't think that's going to happen. If they put too many games on streaming platforms only at some point they'll jeopardize its broadcast antitrust exemption. It's still why they'll put a streaming game only in local markets on one of the major networks. They're too smart for that as they're king for a reason.

Warner from age 31 to 35 had a really rough five year stretch. Then he seemed to find himself again with the Cardinals to close his career. He's one of the few that started his career hot. Was middling and often injured in the middle. Then finished his final few years like he played his first few years. Really odd career arch.

The stupidity of people never ceases to amaze. The Buffalo News actually ran this?

Terry Bradshaw was the most surprising. Drew Brees not being on the list is surprising.

I remember as a kid really not wanting to be because my parents loved them so much. Then I made the mistake of listening to them. Definitely will pay top price for this one.

Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
Doc Brown replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Similar experience. Being ok with QB's that we knew would maybe win a playoff game if everything fell into place but never take us to the big dance (Edwards, Fitzpatrick, Taylor) to me was the most frustrating part of the drought. Everyone trying to argue they could be the guy saw a superior QB stomp on us pretty much twice a season every season. It's why it wasn't really until 2019 and that Cowboys game specifically that had me locked in again. -

Whenever that McKelvin fumble @Pats was. 2009? I just remember laughing instead of being heartbroken. I was just done with Trent Edwards and Dick Jauron at that point and was hoping we'd find a way to self tank that season. -
Commanders bringing back their Super Bowl era throwbacks

I thought Football Team was at least funny. -
Commanders bringing back their Super Bowl era throwbacks
Doc Brown replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought it was fine they removed the name. The Commanders name is just so awful though. The Washington Hogs would've been great. -
They've tried work requirements in other states and it has failed miserably. The administrative costs associated with it was transferred directly to the taxpayer. The paperwork people working was too confusing and time consuming that many were kicked off medicaid despite working 40 hours a week but their job didn't pay them enough to where they were still eligible for medicaid and/or SNAP benefits. If there wasn't already proven failure at doing this at a local level where it just caused needy people to fall through the cracks then I wouldn't be bitching about it. The old trope of these massive amount of able bodied adults sitting in his mom's basement just isn't true. Republicans had all this information at their fingertips but knew that using that to cut Medicaid and SNAP would be popular with the base so they could justify breaking their campaign promises.

He did campaign on it. Pushed hard for it in 2016 and 2024. All of them are poorly run? Fine. What's you alternative? Put more spikes on benches because of the increase in homelessness? You really don't know how politics work. This thing was going to pass on July 4th from the start. Everything before is just performance art. Those fiscal conservatives were always going to vote yes. You know how I know? They just voted on a bill that raises the deficit by 4.6 trillion dollars. They can now say "hey at least we cut some social program money." If you think these Medicaid and SNAP cuts will only weed out the leaches I have a bridge to sell you.
-
This is classic deflection. Trump and many Republicans campaigned on not cutting any aspect of the public safety net. They did. They try to coax it with rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse with work requirements to keep the base happy. They still cut Medicaid and SNAP benefits no matter how slice it. The way they frame it is insulting to one's intelligence.
-
I don't mind lowering taxes across the board but find something else to cut than the public safety net.
-
There's no way that was going to happen with Republicans in the majority in both Houses with a Republican president.
-
They raised the child tax credit to $2200 per child with annual increases due to inflation. Also made it permanent. They basically just shifted the SNAP benefits to the states. What are you talking about man? My main problem with the bill is the cut to Medicaid and even adding work requirements which has been disastrous in every state that's implemented that program.

Who is on the Mt. Rushmore of Bills Special Teams
Doc Brown replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mark Pike has gone from underrated to overrated on these boards. I just view gunners, return guys, kickers, and punters as more vital to Special Teams. -
That drop could absolute play mental games with him in future playoff games. You saw it with Mark Andrews last year in the playoffs. Drops one, fumbles another, and then in their most important play of the season they go back to him again?

Doc Brown. Vietnam won't pay a penny.

He threw 18 interceptions and gave away at least one game singlehandedly. Number 12 on the list was fair last year.

Ricky Bobby: Wait, Dad. Don’t you remember the time you told me “If you ain’t first, you’re last”? Reese Bobby: Huh? What are you talking about, Son? Ricky Bobby: That day at school. Reese Bobby: Oh ----, Son, I was high that day. That doesn’t make any sense at all, you can be second, third, fourth… ---- you can even be fifth.

NFL Top 100 year prior to RB's signing massive extensions. Zeke Elliott - 18th Todd Gurley - 6th Dalvin Cook - 21st Le'Veon Bell - 6th (then sat out the next year) Christian McCaffrey - 6th (had one and 1/2 healthy seasons since 2020). Nick Chubb - 26th (had two good years before devastating let injury).] Henry's the one back that has defied the odds. It's a wait and see on Barkley with his new extension.

Maxwell Hairston named in civil lawsuit for sexual assault
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was more that Penn State poster. When you start to get bored on a topic you try and alter the conversation with a moral debate. Can't throw stones on you for that. -
Tasker's in on signing him long term now.
