There’s not many times a 25 year old proven elite qb becomes available. Let’s not forget there was a bidding war between four teams for this guy once the criminal charges were dismissed. The Browns did what they felt they had to in order to get him to Cleveland. Now they’ll live with the consequences.

I don't know if you paused the game to go into hibernation.......but you might want to hit play. -
This is where it doesn't go far enough but I'll take anything at this point. Under 21 Enhanced Review Process ● For buyers under 21 years of age, requires an investigative period to review juvenile and mental health records, including checks with state databases and local law enforcement. Not much of a chance for a criminal record when you're a minor. Raise the age to purchase a gun of any kind to 21 and then do a thorough review for gun purchases. That seems to be the new adulthood age anyways as you can't even legally have a beer until then. Make an exception for those under 21 who join the military who are trained on how to use a weapon.

How much did you pay for gas and groceries today?
Doc Brown replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Early death if they ate all that much in one meal. Also, rookie mistake ordering two orders of fries from five guys when one easily feeds two. -
We already knew he'd be acquitted in the Senate so I didn't waste my time with the hearings. Removing him in the last couple of weeks in his presidency would've been political suicide for the GOP with his diehard supporters. People have already made their minds up after January 6th so I agree these congressional hearings are pointless.

I'm the wrong one to ask as I didn't watch a second of the hearings. From what I've heard they haven't yet revealed any shocking new evidence as it just seems to be typical political theater. Dems wanting to take the focus off inflation, gas prices, stock market decline, etc... Republicans just wanting to put that day behind them to move on to the midterms without Trump's stupid election fraud claims coming back into focus.

Tyreek Hill says Tua is more accurate than Mahomes
Doc Brown replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
You think? Ask Peyton Manning his final year whether his physical ability had anything to do with his success after throwing 7td's and 15int's when his arm went. Him and Brady excelled at all those other traits you mentioned at the highest level probably ever. On Tua's particular throw it's pry still a TD is you had Allen, Mahomes, Herbert, Rodgers, etc...throwing it even with the hesitation. -

It helps though. Anytime people have trouble understanding the limits of not having elite arm strength I just show them this. Having an average arm limits the playbook.- 119 replies

Aaron Kromer’s 1st interview since returning to Bills as OL coach
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm glad they got Kromer on Ford's last year on his rookie contract as I've been less than impressed with our o-line coaches since McDermott has gotten here. -
I looked at the TNF schedule and chuckled to myself that Al Michaels is going to call the Jaguars at the Jets on December 22nd. From the Miracle on Ice that was played on tape delay on ABC to two bottom feeder teams in the cold Meadowlands on a streaming service with Kirb Herbstreit when both teams are around 4-11.

I watched the Tampa Bay game the other day. There was 22 seconds left when we tied it at 27-27. The Bucs had one time out left and Brady was warming up on the sideline. The broadcast shows McDermott running into the special teams huddle with Heath Farwell to I guess make sure his wishes are clear. Bass squib kicks it and the Bucs get the ball at their own 16 with 16 seconds left (took six seconds off the clock). The Bucs decide it's not worth it to take a shot down the field to get into field goal range and kneel the ball to play for overtime. Based off that, my best guess is the squib kick was called in KC and McDermott for whatever reason overruled the call. Maybe he changed his mind at the last second and not everyone got the message but Bass did. Or, vice versa. A long kick for a touchback was called and McDermott changed his mind and called a squib kick. Bass never got the instructions. It would be fricken nice if we knew what happened though.

A lot of that messaging (take all your guns, abortion through birth, it's the liberals who are the real racists) have been pushed by the right for at least 30 years. Culture wars sell to a certain point but the Democrats are going to get CRUSHED this election because of combination of inflation, high gas prices, and historical trends following a presidential election. I think the GOP gets more of the popular vote than they did in 2010 (+6.8%) and the Dems did in 2018 (+8.6%). That means at least 30 seats in the House and three to five Senate seats (both flipped).
