  1. Rams actually went for it on 4th and missed. Did they even punt yesterday? Then they scored four straight touchdowns. You're right in that it was unusual for us to both stop the opponent and score to open the half. However, the rest of the game up until that final drives was a disaster on defense and our offense was stymied a little bit mostly because of Donald.
  2. "Never go full Falcon" has to be the new phrase when up double digits entering the 4th. Yesterday we almost went full Falcon.
  3. I doubt the Rams put up 29 in the 2nd half with a packed house so those two factors may have cancelled themselves out.
  4. Whatabouisms are weak arguments. There was enough contact by the DB to be considered a borderline pass interference call.
  5. There's no reason we can't be at least 25% capacity like the Cowboys in an open air stadium. Having said that, I think having no fans at the home games prevents Allen from getting too amped up.
  6. Honestly, I'm just glad Duke Williams is finally an afterthought.
  7. We went through this last year against the Eagles and the first half of that Redskins game. This defense tends to reel at times and it happened today against a really good offense. I'm usually a glass is 2/3 empty 1/3 full type guy but I think they'll get it straightened out. Still a huge concern until they do though.
  8. They don't have the rushing attack the Rams do. Plus, Incognito will be out. I'm sure McDermott will make it a point of emphasis this week.
  9. I'm glad people are starting to see why McBeane "overpaid" for Star.
  10. I saw Josh at Chick-fil-A on Thursday and told him how much I appreciated his effort and dedication to the city. He told me to go ***** yourself and knocked the pop out of my hands.
  11. Thank you for your enormous sacrifice. His skill set fit better in McDermott's system than the Football Team's.
  12. I'd say Star clogging up those double teams is the bigger loss. He's always been underappreciated because of his contract and lack of sacks.
  13. Look what happened to Carolina's defense when Norman left. A #1 CB is crucial for a defense.
  14. I like them for every position but quarterback. I still think QBR is the best metric but there will never be a perfect one.
  15. I don’t forget coming opponents but I believe conference record is ahead of that when it comes to tie breakers. Plus, it’s more likely we tie a non division AFC team for a WC spot and the Rams wouldn’t be a common opponent. Unfortunately.
  16. The only game I recall being like this was us in Europe against the Jags. Happy to be on the other side this time.
  17. Was nice to be able to just cruise to an easy win for once.
  18. I'd pry give the Eagles the best chance given how horrible that division is. Texans are definitely 2nd though. @Chiefs, Ravens, and @ Steelers is a brutal start to the season.
  19. I'm still yet to figure out how that team made the playoffs.
  20. They're all big games but the four NFC games aren't as important compared to the conference games if you want to get technical.
  21. Vikings game in 2018. Winning 27-6 against an eventual playoff team as heavy underdogs. Our three staring WR's were Benjamin, Jones, and Holmes.
  22. It doesn't. The original line (-3) seemed correct. I think we have a slightly better roster. It's tempting to take the Bills at this line only if Milano and Edmunds are both in the starting lineup.
