I'm guessing McDermott would talk him up as much as possible if they were looking to trade him. He seems like a high character guy but hasn't shown much since entering the league. If they could get anything for him I'd do the trade.
After watching the Bills inside the 25 yesterday. God no.
Offenses are too good now so you'd pry see the winner of the coin flip when about 60% of the games. It was around 54% before the OT format change I believe but a touchback also put you at the 20 yard line at the time.
He was good against zone last year as the blueprint for him was man coverage with disguised blitzes. I put the lack of scoring more on the poor running game.
Crossing routes don't have much to do with red zone problems like the Bills showed today. Also, what was different personnel wise in our offense the last three games compared to our first four?
It's really hard for me to say it's pitiful when we more than doubled their yardage and held their offense to 4 yards in the 2nd half. Are red zone offense was atrocious but it would be more concerning if it was a concern before this game.
We out gained them 422 yards to 190. We never punted. We had six sacks. It was an absolutely dominating performance after thew woke up near the end of the first half. The lack of TD's were fluky (should've won by at least 20) but this was a good team dominating a bad team. I'm more encouraged today than discouraged.
It's hard for me to be down on the defense when they gave up negative six yards in the second half and we more than doubled their yardage overall for the game. We should know a lot more about this team in three weeks.
