  1. He was drafted in the NFL by Packers - flamed out, stocked shelves at minimum wage, played Arena Football, signed with Rams behind Trent Green before leading team to two SB's after Green was hurt (plus two NFL MVP's), Bulger took his job, signed with Giants - was okay, signed with Cardinals - led them to Super Bowl, retired, lowered himself to Dancing With the Stars, worked as NFL analyst (still does), and made both pro football hof and arena football hof. Typical career path.
  2. Theory? It's been this way since the two party system was created. As far as 2000, that was the last time I didn't hear "this is the most important election of our lifetime" when looking back pry the most important election of our lifetime.
  3. That’s not the exact quote but we’ll let you off the hook.
  4. Looked into it further as his wikipedia page needs edits. I guess he was suspended the last four games in 2018 for violating the league's substance abuse policy (probably weed in which he's an idiot as you have to test positive at leat three times I believe to get a four game suspension). It's unclear why he was suspended the first four weeks of this season as a free agent. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2020/09/nfl-suspends-lb-darron-lee
  5. Not really. He was playing his best ball before the PED infraction so it makes you wonder. There was an incident at some music fesitval where he got in a verbal fight with his girlfriend and had to be physically restrained. There were also reports of a poor work ethic while with the Jets. Maybe he can turn his career around but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  6. Negotiations with Brady fell apart and they didn't have a good backup plan. I think they were planning to go with Stidham but were surprised Newton was still available. I suspect they knew the ceiling of players like Dalton, Foles, and Winston who would never be good enough to get them a Superbowl. They were able to get Newton at a discount price. They figured at best we get the 2015 MVP and at worst we play Stidham while wasting a million on Netwon. Stidham getting hurt in training camp gave the upper hand to Newton. If Newton has another few bad games they'll turn to Stidham to see what he has before making a move for a quarterback next year via free agency or the draft.
  7. Until the NFL changes the same color helmet rule you'd have to have a lot of blood on the white helmets to ever see it again.
  8. I thought this was a parody article. No scan, fax, or copy of them? No security video of the mail room? If I was going to send such important documents I'd probably make a copy first. I thought Tucker was smarter than that. This is Alex Jones territory.
  9. Was this before or after the weather report for this Sunday? I don't bet against Josh Allen against a suspect defense in a dome. Just as long as he doesn't try some crazy lateral.
  10. I get what they’re trying to sell but if that’s the best they can do.....yikes. Good luck with that.
  11. That's right. They started out strong and then the storm came. Very strange game. I stripped my clothes off back at the car and me and my buddy drove home with the heat cranked up in our boxers.
  12. That one Giants game in '07?? where it was like 32 and rain was pretty bad. Once you're body is wet you're done.
  13. Guard is an area of weakness and Quinton Spain is a free agent who could be a solid signing. If we can upgrade at backup QB also that would be great.
  14. Am I wrong to read this and conclude that Sal thinks Bills fans are morons? Almost a full yard less huh.
  15. I may be wrong on this but didn't Peyton Manning decide to remain at Tennessee partly because the Jets had the first pick in the '97 draft. It would be funny if Lawrence did the same.
  16. I guarantee he's an upgrade over Boettger or Winters when it comes to pass blocking no matter which metrics you cite.
  17. Agreed. Him and Romo are one of the only color commentator that enhances my viewing experience. Michaels is great with anyone they've ever put him with. Romo and Nantz are also great. Those two are the top tier and nobody else really comes close. That's pry his biggest weakness and he has an elitist way about him. I get the hate. However, whenever he goes into analyst mode he's outstanding.
  18. They invested in the CB position with a large contract for Jones and a 1st rounder last year. It would make sense to feel out what they could get for Howard. It's pry to steep a price for the Bills and intradivision trades are rare.
  19. I'll still take Collinsworth over anybody at least on tv today. Screw the haters.
  20. It's okay. I'm used to Bills players disappointing me. It's a rough beat though.
