  1. The "Karen's" you cite are about 5% of the population at most. You'll always have societal leaches but most people want to work. The stimulus checks are generous (and necessary to keep our economy afloat) but not permanent. How am I nearly positive at the very latest a year from now life will be back to as close as normal as pre pandemic? Schools and businesses fully open. No masks. People won't stand for it and politicians bend to the will of the people. It's that simple. People hate wearing masks. Younger people hate not being to be going out to the wee hours of the morning on the weekend. Religious people get a lot more out of in person worship than telewhatever. People miss being able to go to large parties and see their extended family. Post pandemic habits will be slower to change. It sucks right now but it will eventually get better.
  2. It’s more they want Trump out of their hair for good but go on with your incoherent rant.
  3. Because he keeps posting gifs that this thing is going to last forever. I figured any time before that would be good news to him.
  4. Bingo. Most GOP senators would convict if there weren't personal political consequences if they did.
  5. It's been more useful in keeping me warmer outside during this February deep freeze. Maybe because it's good news.
  6. We had about 40 people at my aunt's house because she had a huge satellite dish and the game was blacked out locally. The memory of that 2nd half will last a lifetime.
  7. It also paints Republican Senators who vote to acquit him as condoning the riots. The more video and images they show the worse it's going to look.
  8. If Watson goes to any of the visiting teams then that's who they'll play. I'd go Saints, Cowboys, and Bills in that order of most likely as it stands right now.
  9. We'll see next year when life will hopefully get back to normal. It's hard to draw any conclusions though as I'm guessing a lot of people who usually don't watch football but will attend Super Bowl parties that didn't this year didn't tune in to the game. Having said that, improve your damn halftime show. It was awful.
  10. Two things are pry both true... -The team would've never made it to the Super Bowl without Brady coming to Tampa. The three players who scored a TD were recruited by Brady. -A game manager who doesn't make mistakes easily wins that Super Bowl and that's what Brady was. He was smart enough to go to a team that was just a few ingredients away (both on and off the field) and he went and provided those missing pieces. I can't minimize his accomplishment because the defense played really well.
  11. Of course they do out of fear of having their political lives destroyed. My hunch is if they did a secret ballot he'd be convicted just based off Liz Cheney retaining her seat in the House. It's not a criminal trial so the high standards of "proving a charge of inciting insurrection" isn't required to convict. There's no way in hell he's not being acquitted but having a majority of Senators (including a few Republicans) vote to have him convicted will hopefully send a message to future president's (and the American public) about the importance of the peaceful transition of power. I don't want another January 5th scene (or worse) as those pictures have been disseminated throughout the world making us look like a freaking banana republic.
  12. You seem like a rationally poster in most other threads but I’m not going to respond to someone who believes all that. There’s another message board for that.
  13. Source? Also, Trump was such a divisive figure he could've cured cancer a month before the election and not a single vote would've changed.
  14. Josh isn't overlooked. The fact that he finished ahead of Mahomes tells me that. If Rodgers had the same year last year he had this year Lamar would've have won MVP and maybe received four votes like Josh. Just bad timing. As far as Mahomes two years ago....50 TD's, 8 INT's, 5,097 yards passing, 113.8 passer ratting. Pretty, pretty, good.
  15. They did. May have cost them a Super Bowl birth. Tee Higgins or Chase Claypool would've been a nice weapon for Aaron to have.
  16. Interesting that Mahomes got two more votes than Allen as far as "offensive player of the year." Mahomes nauseating amount of weapons seemed to work against him as far as what the voters viewed as "value" to their team as far as the MVP vote goes.
  17. Congrats to Kevin Stefanski. It's not easy following Hue Jackson, Gregg Williams, and Freddie Kitchens.
  18. True but if they cut/trade Fuller, Hicks, and Graham that saves them $30 mil right off the bat. They can also get creative with extending or renegotiating contracts. They'll be able to afford Wentz but it likely comes at the cost of not being able to resign Robinson.
  19. His best performance was General Chang in Star Trek VI. You can't beat him quoting Shakespeare as a Klingon. RIP.
  20. That's downplaying it. The purpose of impeachment for Trump is to prevent some rogue president from doing something similar in the future. It's to safeguard and strengthen our democracy. Let's say Obama lost reelection to Romney and refused to accept the results of the election. He immediately started spreading disinformation for months to his supporters that it was "stolen" from him without any evidence that could past muster in court. He then used his cult of personality to encourage his most fanatical followers to march to the capital building to "stop the steal" where results of the election were about to be certified. Five people die and one of our most recognizable buildings in our great democracy was defaced. I'd want him impeached asap. That's something that just can't be brushed aside. Without Trump's rhetoric and gaslighting it wouldn't have happened. Period.
  21. I think it depends on where the salary cap lands. They’ll pry find a way to keep him if it’s closer to 190 million than 175 million. Having that speed threat stretches a secondary opens things up for Beasley, Diggs, Knox, etc. underneath. He also has a really good rapport with Allen and is a refined route runner. I would be uncomfortable with Davis taking the #2 slot. You’re likely not going to upgrade from the TE so having the same wr crew with that depth that got you to 15-4 is essential.
