  1. Agreed although I still find green eggs disgusting. The Sneetches should be a required reading in elementary schools.
  2. Given I saw this cut coming he's my number two TE target since the end of the season (behind Cook). Of course my name isn't Brandon Beane so it doesn't matter. Thirty-one isn't ancient and the Vikings run heavy offense held him back. Hunter or Jonuu would be nice but they're pry going to get overpaid.
  3. Yeah. Here's some of what he said..... "I've had multiple opportunities to get to free agency and it's never been appealing to me because I don't want to be anywhere else but here," he said. "I wanna be on the first team that wins [a Super Bowl] here. With that being said, I want to be a reason why we win the championship, I don't want to just be a swing tackle." “[A restructured deal] is not going to happen," he said. "I feel like I have a lot of good football left. At 31, with how I feel physically, knowing what I can still do. It’s simply a lack of opportunities. In the past I was the one getting red zone targets. I can’t sign up for that again.” It's difficult to tell if he's more about the money or a chance to have a meaningful impact on a Super Bowl contender. If it's the former he might take a little less to play here if the Bills want to go in that direction.
  4. It's not that uncommon. You set the foundation, sell it, and then all you have to do now is sit back and collect the rent. The 716 should only get better.
  5. I'm definitely disappointed but I figured it was a long shot. He might be a Bill if it wasn't for Covid's impact on the cap. We need to find another way to upgrade our pass rush.
  6. Suggested this when they signed him as he has the exact build as Jordan Reed. Too late now.
  7. Without any real evidence all he really has to do is deny, deny, deny and he'll be fine as we've found out numerous times over the years. Just call it a political hit job.
  8. Just based off my own experience as a school psychologist in Syracuse and Buffalo for a few years each, parental involvement is the most important factor in a student's success. In general, black students families are less involved in their education so it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of the 310 students who didn't apply were black students.
  9. Not yet. However, if Allen has another great year and we're tied to him long term I think the Bills should ask for his input in replacing Daboll assuming he gets a HC job. It would benefit both parties short and long term. Luckily, McDermott and Beane are smart enough to realize this. This may have been brewing ever since Pete Carroll called that goal line pass to Malcolm Butler in the SB.
  10. Also, he takes a 4 year 140 million dollar contract and is upset they aren't signing better offensive free agents? I know complimenting Brady is heresy on this board but he could've made more money at the cost of a worst supporting cast throughout his career. Instead he has seven rings.
  11. Any smart organization that has an established elite franchise QB locked up for big money should absolutely ask for their opinion. I'm talking a top 5 established QB in their prime though.
  12. Deal reached with Disney. ABC will carry a Super Bowl. Amazon Prime now will carry TNF games instead of Fox. TNF still broadcast on NFL Network.
  13. He'll need another top 10 season as an offensive coordinator. Sample size is too small. Although, he had to be a better candidate than Campbell or Culley were.
  14. Not worth the headache when there's so many young WR's vying for a roster spot as talented as he is at this point in his career.
  15. Most of these QB deals get done during the summer right up until the season opener (Mahomes, Goff, Wentz, Watson). It makes sense after the draft and free agency is wrapped up to see where you are salary cap wise.
  16. Does Houston want to take on his salary though? Especially with Caserio having that Patriots background where RB by committee is the norm. There's no way in hell Beane would pay a running back that much. Yet alone trade a first rounder for one.
  17. Great news for Johnson & Johnson vaccine. One shot dose in huge in speeding up vaccination process.
  18. It comes down to the states as bluer states will be quicker to mandate the vaccine to kids if parents want their kids to attend public schools. However, I expect most school districts throughout the country to mandate the covid vaccine for students by this coming fall like they do measles, polio, and hepatitis B. Employers can also mandate vaccines so if you're a business owner it would be dumb not to. The NFL will also have every right to mandate that all fans must show proof of vaccination papers if they want to fill stadiums again.
  19. He'll make the highest you can make (around 13 million) as far as the transitional tag is concerned (average yearly salary of 1st through 10th at the position) because he made that pro bowl. If he didn't and did play 75% of his snaps they take the average salary of 3rd through 25th at the position. Thanks pro bowl voters. At least we won't have to pay him the franchise tag amount.
  20. Not the franchise tag amount. Edmunds will earn the regular transitional tag amount (13 million) because he was selected to one pro bowl on the original ballot.
  21. I like the idea of always having that 5th year option every year so staying put at 30 and taking the best player available at an area of need/depth is fine with me.
  22. Kids adapt quickly when left home alone. Great news out coming of Israel with the Pfizer vaccine The Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE Covid-19 vaccine appeared to stop the vast majority of recipients in Israel becoming infected, providing the first real-world indication that the immunization will curb transmission of the coronavirus. The vaccine, which was rolled out in a national immunization program that began Dec. 20, was 89.4% effective at preventing laboratory-confirmed infections, according to a copy of a draft publication that was posted on Twitter and confirmed by a person familiar with the work. The companies and Israel’s Health Ministry worked together on the preliminary observational analysis, which has not yet been peer-reviewed. The results, also reported in Der Spiegel, are the latest in a series of positive data to emerge out of Israel, which has given more Covid vaccines per capita than anywhere else in the world. Nearly half of the population has had at least one dose of vaccine. Separately, Israeli authorities on Saturday said the Pfizer-BioNTech shot was 99% effective at preventing deaths from the virus.
  23. Ratings fluctuate yearly and ad supported television shows declined as a whole since the start of the pandemic as streaming increased. NFL ratings historically decline during a presidential election year. The games still dominate any other crap the networks put on. These networks are willing to pay top dollar.
