  1. Too good of a team not to have a capable backup given Allen's playing style.
  2. $11 million guaranteed is a lot for a 1B (at best) RB coming off a down year.
  3. This is somewhere in between JJ Watt and Greg Olsen in terms of anticipation and quality of veteran coveted.
  4. At the end of the day it's still a hard cap even though there's many ways to manipulate it as the Saints are proving. The trick seems to me is to obviously find your franchise quarterback and instill a solid culture and environment where players want to be there. Then you can sign your own free agents at discounts, ask veterans to pay cuts/contract restructures, attract free agents that may value winning if it means taking a tad less money, and in your case (and hopefully ours) sign a QB that still gets his but is willing to take a little less to keep as much of the team together in order to continue to compete for a Super Bowl every year. The Seahawks, Packers, and Steelers haven't made a Super Bowl since their QB's got paid handsomely despite remaining elite at that position. Even in those circumstances you still have to draft well and develop. The Patriots stopped doing that a couple years before Brady left them because he didn't have any weapons even though they were paying Brady illegally under the table in order for him to take a lower salary. You also have to maximize the parts of the organization that isn't restricted by cap space. Everything from paying premium coaches, GM's, coordinators, and assistant coaches decent salaries to building and maintaining state of the art facilities.
  5. Why not offer him a billion? He pry wouldn't have turned it down.
  6. There was another Bills WR that came over here in his mid 30's that helped take this team to the Super Bowl with a late career resurgence. Can Sanders wear number 80 since 17 is taken up?
  7. The Jets making two AFC Championship games with Sanchez comes to mind.
  8. I think Staley got more last year in guaranteed money so this pry isn't as crazy as it seems. Just glad KC didn't get him.
  9. Remember the Jets spending spree in the 2019 off-season. LOL. They better hope Davis and Lawson turn out a little bit better. CJ Mosley - 5 years, 85 million Le'Veon Bell - 4 years, 52 million Jamison Crowder - 3 years, 28 million Henry Anderson - 3 years, 25 million
  10. NY Giants beat writer for @thebrawlnetwork. Look out Schefter.
  11. Something tells me they don't plan on using 10 personnel a lot this year.
  12. They lost Fitz which was QB for half their wins (I'm including the Raiders game). They also got to play the Bengals and Jaguars while we played the Steelers and Titans. Winning games with def and ST TD's wasn't sustainable down the stretch. They're not close to us talent wise right now but if Watson goes there it's a game changer.
  13. You seem to be making the assumption that the premier pass rushers signed today would pick the Bills over the team they ended up signing with for the same money. It’s quite possible the Bills could’ve lost Milano and failed to land one of these pass rushers. We also don’t know if the Bills took a serious run at any of them considering this regime doesn’t leak a darn thing.
  14. Maybe this will convince Watson to stay.
  15. Did the Bills ever have the combo of Dawkins, Ford, Morse, Feliciano, and Williams as their o-line last year? I think the combination of injuries to Ford, Morse, and Feliciano prevented it.
  16. In most situations. If I was an airline pilot I wouldn't want to tell my passengers we'll probably arrive safely at our destination.
  17. One thing Biden's team understands is if you give the most conservative predictions you'll look good when you beat them. It's why many publicly traded companies nudge elbows with earning estimate firms to lower their estimates so they can "beat" them in order to drive up their stock price.
  18. I'm fine with Biden for another eight years given nearly all his views align with mine (minus gun control). Having said that, Kamala would pry disappoint progressives like Obama did as her views shift to best serve her interests.
  19. Page 6 is a tabloid gossip celebrity magazine/site. BB has more credibility.
  20. Good for Mongo. From homeless at times as a kid with a mother battling cancer to a multimillionaire. Easy guy to root for given what he had to overcome.
