Darnold last night was brutal at holding the ball in the pocket and taking sacks. Six of the nine sacks were above four seconds in the pocket. It was stunning at how many negative plays he took and a lot of that was play calling.

I think it can add to a player's adrenaline rush which usually enhances his performance. It's definitely overblown though.

Head coaches and GM's would show favoritism. The AP I guess chooses which sportswriters they think are experts who follow the league closely and objectively evaluate who deserves all pro nods and awards like MVP. It's a way better voting session that the pro bowl which is a popularity contest (players, fans, coaches all vote). For example, Kirby Joseph was voted first team all pro which he deserved but wasn't selected to the Pro Bowl. I don't know if there's a better system as it's far from perfect just looking at some of the television personalities or former players who get a vote.

Dawson Knox for a third round TE too. I know Josh Allen is elite but the Bills offense doesn't put up the numbers this year if Beane hasn't at least been above average in acquiring offensive talent in the draft.

The numbers by Lamar were just too overwhelming. If Pittsburgh didn't collapse down the stretch and win the division it pry goes to Josh. If I was a voter I would've made Lamar first team QB, Burrow 2nd team, and gave the MVP to Josh. I view all pro has more of the player with the best stats. I know historically the AP voters don't vote that way and that's why you should bet Lamar as the MVP if you're in a state that accepts individual award bets.
