  1. Thanking a guy for possibly shutting down a Pats cheating scandal investigation and now bragging about the Pats success. Do you specialize in preparing lobster rolls and clam chowder?
  2. The story is flimsy but Bills fans rushing to defend a guy accused of helping shut down a Patriots cheating scandal is hilarious to me. Politics have become more tribal than freaking football.
  3. They're still testing for it because there's many players coming back that opted out with preexisting conditions that might be in serious trouble if they catch it from a teammate. The same protocol of isolation would be in place if you test positive because of that. You can still test positive for it (see the Yankees) but the vaccines are obviously extremely effective given the steep decline in cases across the country as a larger percentage of the population keeps getting vaccinated. Some of the incentives for vaccinated players is they won't be required to wear masks, only be tested once a week instead of daily, and can hang out with vaccinated teammates outside the confines of the stadium. It's perfectly reasonable.
  4. True. McDermott could tell the media that he instructed them to say that for now if he really wants to squash the vaccine questions.
  5. It's a legitimate question as I don't want Josh or other key players catching Covid going into the playoffs or any time during the season. They're just doing their jobs. If Josh is vaccinated please do the shot in his left arm.
  6. SS -Ideally, where would you wanna go? JJ - I want to win. SS - Then don't go to Dallas....😂
  7. I voted yes based off the poll question but wouldn't do it based off the actual question Fairburn answered. Give me a 22 year old Chase Young for Mario Addison. If Rousseau (or Basham) turns into a stud we'd have a fierce pass rush for the next decade.
  8. I have a dream that one day a low level female staffer hire will not have a multipage thread dedicated to it.
  9. Not that different. They may have felt his ceiling was McCaffrey. It's possible the Bills would've traded up for him if they weren't lacking offensive firepower like the Panthers were going into the 2017 season. Can someone give Beane some truth serum before his next press conference?
  10. That's possible but they would've gone against the overall consensus. I believe Beane was still with the Panthers when they drafted McCaffrey and who knows how much influence he had over that pick.
  11. Beane went unprompted at one of the post draft press conferences to say he's not in the "never draft a running back in the first round" club. Combine that with all the pre draft rumors, Etienne's comment, and Beane's pre draft comment that we didn't have a homerun threat............I think we would've taken him if available at #30. They may have even tried to trade up and failed. I would've been thrilled to get him so I hope he fails miserably in Jacksonville.
  12. None but there were a few looks that said "great scott....I can see the guy's nose and mouth." It'll be a fun transition back.
  13. With how good things are going he should get credit for at least giving the private companies the funding necessary to work on developing vaccines. I walked into a Tops without a mask for the first time yesterday while Big Blitz assured me repeatedly it would be policy forever.
  14. I think his influence on Dogecoin is slowly dwindling but to me the best investment shouldn't be reliant on an eccentric billionaire tweeting at random times.
  15. I don't really get that feeling but it's an interesting perspective. To me she comes across as fake, lacks charisma, and switches her positions whichever way the wind blows. It's the same problem Hillary had.
  16. Yeah. He's making the team meaning a more deserving player won't get a spot. I get it though from a financial perspective especially in a market like Jacksonville. It's a risk when your backup TE/FB/QB(whatever he'll be) will get more media attention than your star players in the locker room.
  17. Would've loved to see the reaction when ETN was picked by the Jags. Beane's interest in him will always be a mystery I guess.
  18. I know this whole thing is mostly political and I don't think the average American cares that much at this point. However, it's going to be funny seeing the GOP Senators filibuster a bill passed by the House to set up a bipartisan commission to investigate an attack/riot in the same building where these same Senators literally had to go into hiding.
