The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The pandemic is essentially over unless we see a marked increase in hospitalizations and deaths in vaccinated people. Anything else (like the delta variant) is basically fear porn now. -
Brown already distancing himself from Paladino and Walton blasts him for taking two days to disavow him. Odds are Brown's doing a write in campaign or he wouldn't have distanced himself imo. https://www.wgrz.com/article/news/politics/buffalo-mayor-byron-brown-says-he-will-not-accept-support-from-carl-paladino/71-9e3e9f50-2ea0-4fe7-8eb0-9e53319988fe

To quote Men In Black, "People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it." Stock up on toilet paper ASAP for this Delta variant. -

A week? Must live in some over cautious blue state. -
Good question but only if they specified how long their final tour would be.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I believe his point was that Mr. Negativity claimed we'd be wearing masks permanently. He was dead wrong like usual. Meanwhile, I haven't had to use a mask in any public place in over a month now thanks to the vaccines. -
COVID-19 - Facts and Information Only Topic
Doc Brown replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
There was a 15.9% increase in the death rate in the US in 2020 compared to 2019 after three straight years of decline. -
Cole Beasley is good with the football
Doc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What would Bill Belichick do? Jab him in his sleep and tell him the NFL made an exception just for you because they admired his courage in speaking out. They may have to think outside the box here. -
Who's Running The Executive Branch?
Doc Brown replied to Irv's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
He's in great shape physically for a 78 year old as he follows a strict diet and does a cardio/weight lifting morning routine five days a week. I do think he's slipping a bit mentally although it's hard to tell as he's never been a good public speaker. I give him a 50/50 chance of running for reelection. -
Which Bill are you rooting for this year?

53 Man Roster: Projection After OTA/Minicamp
Doc Brown replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes right now with the Beasley situation but I think the Bills would've traded or cut him by now if they get the sense he's going to opt out. They still might within the next few days. If not, there's no way he's not on the active 53 man roster as he's too important as that safety valve in the slot. Eighty two catches for 967 yards in 15 games is not easily duplicated and losing him would be significant. Ford would have to have a really bad camp for them to cut/trade him as he won't save you much money. He's only had a year and a half of playing experience at both tackle and guard. Having him fully healthy and locking him into one position (guard) will be key. He's by far our most athletically gifted guard as we moved up in the 2nd for a reason Frazier values veterans so I think Addison stays although he'd make the most sense of the three you mentioned with three younger DE's vying for playing time. -

He may opt out. Same with Poyer for all we know. Not chef though. -
This is a simple Poll. Will Josh Allen regress?
Doc Brown replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen posted the 9th best QBR by a QB for a single season since they started tracking it in 2006. I think he'll regress some but the running game and defense will be improved. -
Her previous experience is a nurse. She's not qualified to be mayor of a major city. There has to be some kind of behind the scenes work being done to run a viable candidate against her in November.

That's why I didn't consider a kicker on the list. Bass is good but if he goes down there's plenty of FA kickers available. Same goes for a RB since we don't have a standout stud and are RB by committee. The reason I put White ahead of Diggs is we have more depth at WR (assuming Beasley doesn't retire), Daboll is good at scheming guys open, Josh is growing more comfortable in the offense, and we showed last year we can win with the run in two games (Chargers and first Pats game) if need be. Meanwhile, the one game White missed (Titans game) we made Tannehill and AJ Brown look like Montana and Rice.

She's a full blown socialist. Is it a given she'll win in November?

And now you have and so have I. Thanks for that. She pry will make a lot of money off of her dumb comments.

His biggest controversial take ahead of the last four drafts.... 2018 - You have Allen ahead of Mayfield, Darnold, and Rosen? Darnold at #5? 2019 - You put Drew Lock in front of Dwane Haskins? 2020 - You have Herbert and Love ahead of Tua? 2021 - You have Wilson ahead of Lawrence? Hoping he's wrong about Wilson.

True, but there's still a stigma attached to it. Coming out as a professional football player takes guts and shouldn't be diminished.
