  1. Agreed but the Bills brass didn't think his value was enough to match the Bears offer or extend him in the 2020 or 2021 off-season. It's not like we lost a Luke Kuechly quality MLB in McD's defense.
  2. To play devil's advocate though, Rodgers seems to be a vindictive person and may want to show Green Bay management that if they treated him better he'd have been the model quarterback we're seeing so far with the Jets. He's shown up to OTA's, he's taken a massive pay cut, and he's at least pretended to show interest in bonding with his younger WR's. All things he refused to do with the Packers. Even if the Jets start 2-5, Rodgers has shown the ability in the past to dig his team out of a hole including that famous "Relax" quote. It's going to be a very interesting season with them no matter what.
  3. True, but LaFleur called the plays the whole time in Green Bay so it's hard to know who was more responsible for Aaron playing at an MVP level. Was Rodgers's decline last year due to age, coaching (no Nate Hackett), or not having Davante Adams to throw too? How will Rodgers do with Hackett calling plays for him for the first time? How quickly can the Jets acclimate to Hackett's offensive scheme? Hackett to me was an average NFL offensive coordinator at best before going to Green Bay.
  4. Why did DeSantis follow my administration's guidelines on Covid? Lol.
  5. That's why he's being indicted although the details in this indictment aren't as strong against Trump as the one in Florida.
  6. What national crises? Biden won the election and was certified. If anything you should be encouraged it didn't work. Also, if facts and logic mean nothing to Trumpers why continue to post on this topic?
  7. Did Cam Lewis knock the ball down at all today instead of going for the interception?
  8. Twitter still reigns supreme for live updates but it's not what it used to be for a variety of reasons.
  9. Isn't that partially also a product of our offense in that WR2/X role? I just wonder because 2021 Emmanuel Sanders averaged the highest depth of target by a full yard in a half in his 12 year career.
  10. Your username is a fast food item.
  11. Reminds me of wearing sea bands on a ship. It can't hurt and somebody is making a fortune off it.
  12. The coaching staff has the same problem I assume. Making great plays against great players (like breaking a pass up covering Diggs) obviously carries more weight than breaking a pass up against practice squad fodder like Dezmon Patmon.
  13. The sources are the one's playing hard ball with you. Why not just say the sources are lying?
  14. Agreed. The holding for Bass is important also and Martin is reliable. It could be a nice gesture to showcase him though for other teams next training camp even if it isn't a real competition. A quality organization would do that.
  15. He'll be traded in September I guess.
  16. If this season goes sideways my guess is Kraft gives him the ultimatum of give up the personnel decisions to someone else or you're fired.
  17. My mistake. One of the four things you claimed was correct. He is capable of blocking.
  18. I got the joke but I didn't want to come across as a Michael Vick defender or something like that.
  19. Pooch punts are usually shorter directional punts with the goal of pinning an opponent inside the 20. Araiza in college struggled with this. Nothing to do with kicking dogs and I'm sorry for the confusion.
  20. We still could sign him next season if we want to move on from Martin next season. My biggest concern with Araiza was his control as he had a difficult time with pooch punts in college.
  21. When the clock was kicking on that 27-10 Divisional game I was thinking man...it would be nice if we had a better punter.
  22. You said he's put up 50 catches, 900 yards, and 8 touchdowns. He's never done that in his career.
  23. We have no clue what kind of year he's going to have and Beane didn't miss the boat on an extension. They extended Knox, Dawkins, T. White, and Allen between the start of August and the regular season. I'd be more comfortable with a two or three year extension at about 10 to 12 million per year. That's where I see his value and it does nothing to prevent us from drafting a potential elite WR in the first round within the next year or two to eventually replace Diggs. If he wants more than that or wants to bet on himself so be it.
