I'm not worried about Burrow's mental state. If you lose it mentally as a quarterback you're toast.

That. We don't have a running game. We don't have enough ancillary weapons next to Diggs. Dorsey isn't creative enough with his play calls. We shrink in the big moments. Our o-line is below average. It's just an awful night. The only saving grace is at least we're not Jets fans right now who's season is basically over with Rodgers likely out for the year.

All the off-season narratives were confirmed tonight. It is what it is.

I disagree. It's his consistency (going back to college) that's pretty remarkable with him in that it's an eye opener when he has a bad game like today. His worst game since last year's opener and his other bad game last year was against the Browns without Chase. He won the other three without Chase. He's thrown for at least over 4500 yards and 35 TD's the last two seasons. There's enough data with him that shows this game was an anomaly imo. As for the Browns, they own the Bengals and that's about it. Watson still doesn't look close to the player he once was and I don't think they're offense is built to win from behind. I think their offense get manhandled next week against a ticked off Steelers team.

I don't mind them going for it but when your QB is getting killed all night long you should pull him down 40 in the 4th.

Week 1 is pry the most misleading week of the season which is why I'll never put money on it but the Giants o-line looks terrible. Jones needs everything around him to be perfect so they need to somehow clean that up.

You're seeing such bad qb play because they protect them more in training camp/preseason. Not enough live reps. It's a fascinating balancing act because you don't want them hurt.

Week one is always strange. It's usually never as good as it seems (see last years Rams game) and it's never as bad as it seems (see the Steelers opener the year before). If we lose I like to re-watch the game to see what went wrong and ignore everything else including my family. If we win I like to re-watch the game multiple times and soak in all the national content I can even if it means distancing myself from my family.

Bills 24 Jets 24 Tyler Bass and Greg Zeurlein each kick eight field goals including one each in overtime. Aaron Rodgers makes the two young undrafted WR's featured on Hard Knocks cry after key drops. Both slowly descend into depression and become alcoholics after being cut for Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson. They later descend into madness and bomb a village in Colorado after agreeing to overlook an off-season hotel for the winter. Nathaniel Hackett is arrested after getting into a fist fight with Sean Payton's first cousin once removed who is on the high school marching band performing at halftime. Gabe Davis drops eight touchdown passes and TBD sets the all time daily thread page record titled "Trade for Mike Evans." The thread euphoria only lasts two days though as Brandon Beane gives Davis a five year extension on Wednesday.
