  1. Did you blow 200k and are now homeless? If I'm Baltimore I put Lamar in a spread offense and see what he can do this season before I pay him. He could be a better version of Kyler Murray.
  2. Such an odd post. MVP is a regular season stat. His real value is his running ability as he's put up back to back 1,000 yard rushing season. He's won a playoff game so he has that monkey off his back. Now, get him a new offensive coordinator and continue to upgrade his WR options.
  3. 3:13:30 - Marv dropping an Ernest Hemmingway quote to OJ Simpson. I wonder if he inspired OJ to be an author as his "If I did it" book turned out to be a best seller.
  4. No. I threatened to raise her rent to the same as I charge my tenants downstairs.
  5. Threat to get the vaccine. I give her quite the break on rent.
  6. I threatened to evict my sister if she didn’t get the vaccine. Yes. I’m that guy. Luckily, she’s clueless about the eviction moratorium.
  7. I get what you were going for but do you want this forum to be shut down? There’s a reason BBMB didn’t have a politics section and posts like that were why.
  8. They’re idiots and/or they have an unvaccinated close friend or family member.
  9. The people likely to freak out pry already got the vaccine. There’s a plethora of reasons. Some of which I laid out above. The vaccines proving their worth is definitely part of it.
  10. Come on man. Take a break from the internet if you have to use a child’s death to push your fatalistic outlook.
  11. If it were just cases the whole country would be shut down again. Hospitalizations and deaths are basically just among the unvaccinated. The vaccine hesitant are catching on.
  12. Old folks community? Are there any children living there?
  13. The fear of the new variant is partly responsible but there's a plethora of more reasons people on the fence are finally getting the vaccine. The most plausible being the proof is in the pudding with these vaccines as they continue to show their efficacy in fighting off these new variants. People see the news and know that nearly all the hospitalizations and deaths are among those not vaccinated. The vaccines have been out long enough for some to feel slightly more secure their pry won't be any long term side effects. Add to that the threat of more lock downs and mask mandates it's not surprising the vaccine rate has ticked up.
  14. About 3.5 times less deaths though than last year thanks to the vaccine roll out. Best vaccination day in over a month yesterday. Something's working.
  15. Old habits die hard. We have that laser TD to him out in Denver on our minds. ARod's comments about him. He looks like a caveman in the Geico commericals.
  16. Too late. It's been suggested on both sides of the aisle before. The complications of verification prevented it as that money needed to go out ASAP to keep the economy afloat. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/03/1500-stimulus-checks-for-covid-19-shots-how-one-plan-would-work.html https://www.10tv.com/article/news/nation-world/congressman-suggests-third-stimulus-checks-for-vaccine/507-10b4c1d9-5890-4505-a909-995f75738f75
  17. Should've worked at Vanguard. Good news on vaccinations in purple/red states. Vanguard is offering its employees $1,000 to get vaccinated against Covid-19, the company has confirmed. The asset management giant follows Facebook, Google, Microsoft and other employers calling on workers to get the coronavirus vaccine amid growing concerns about the fast spread of the delta variant. “Vanguard recognizes vaccines are the best way to stop the spread of this virus and strongly encourages crew to be vaccinated,” Charles Kurtz, a spokesperson for Vanguard, said in a statement shared with CNBC. “As such, we are offering a vaccine incentive for crew who provide COVID-19 vaccination proof. The incentive recognizes crew who have taken the time to protect themselves, each other, and our communities by being vaccinated.” Kurtz also confirmed the company’s 16,500 eligible employees have until Oct. 1 to get the vaccine, which Bloomberg first reported Wednesday. Walgreens Boots Alliance said Wednesday that the number of vaccines it has administered has surged by more than 30% in the past few weeks in certain states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Kentucky. That number could rise as the Food and Drug Administration gives full approval, versus emergency use authorization, to the vaccines, which it aims to do for the Pfizer vaccine next month. Still, businesses like Vanguard are encouraging employees not to wait. The more evidence of its effectiveness mounts up and with these mRNA vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna) you'll likely see FDA approval by Labor Day. You're going to see more vaccine mandates from private employers as this variants shifts to other parts of the country.
  18. NFL 1.) Jaguars will win the AFC South 2.) Chiefs go 17-0 but lose Divisional round game to Baltimore. 3.) Miami goes 5-12. 4.) Steelers make playoffs and Browns just miss. Bills 1.) We go 12-5 and host Baltimore in AFC Championship game. 2.) Jerry Hughes has a double digit sack season. 3.) Josh Allen finishes 2nd in MVP race behind Mahomes. 4.) Tre'Davious White with double digit interceptions.
  19. You know Belichick's coaching until he's 80 because that's what's being said of him right now.
  20. Is the guy behind him the actor who played Rudy's older brother?
  21. CB depth please. If White goes down we're screwed. See Tennessee game last year.
