  1. Uniform selection has been excellent this year. Only had to deal with the smurf look and red nightmare once each. Did Joe Brady take over uniform selection from Dorsey as well?
  2. Looks about right. About league average the first three years and then that pesky elite gunslinger came along.
  3. You mean from 2020 on and I again appreciate the effort. I would be interested from 2017 to 2019 to see if it's significantly different than the last three and a half years. I remember the Bills being better early in McDermott's tenure but I could be wrong.
  4. I appreciate the effort but way too small of a sample size. Now if you really feel ambitious start from McDermott's first year and see how the defense has performed the last five and a half seasons to gain anything meaningful.
  5. Right. I forgot to add that as the main reason they wouldn’t consider Wilson as that’s not his strong suit.
  6. No. They really like Kirk Cousins because he runs that system very well. He can't play out of structure like Wilson but they seem to be willing to live with that with Cousins.
  7. Marvin Lewis never won a playoff game. That's a major difference. Tony Dungy with Peyton Manning is the more apt comparison. Dungy had mixed playoff success (3-4) and made the playoffs each year with Manning for the first four. It took him until his 5th year there to win the Super Bowl though and get past the Pats. We're in the middle of year four with Josh as an elite QB under McDermott where are playoff record is 4-3 since Josh became Josh.
  8. The last three seasons have been absolute bonkers both on and off the field. I expect nothing less the rest of this season.
  9. I am a grumpy old man but I never said any of that. Maybe edit the post so I don't sound like a lunatic.
  10. That's all you had to write but I always enjoy your strange rants against Ralph and the Pegula's.
  11. No QB's this year.... I think without these players they aren't likely division winners (besides Chris Jones I guess because of how pathetic the AFC West is). Tyreek Hill CMC Trent Williams Myles Garrett Chris Jones
  12. When the Bills win and the Fish lose it will be flexed.
  13. Correct. You used to see it all the time when Brady and Manning dominated their divisions. The Colts had three straight games at the Pats from '04 to '06. Then the Pats had three straight games at the Colts from '07 to '09. Then the Pats at the Colts from '10 to '12. LOL.
  14. Correct. If anything it gives me more confidence in the league's drug testing policy if they're randomly selecting a long snapper.
  15. Coach of the year usually goes to the one that either goes almost undefeated or takes a team from the dumpster to the playoffs. There isn't a coach this year that falls neatly in either category. However, Stefanski winning double digit games with four different starting quarterbacks is imo the most impressive coaching job of the year.
  16. I pry would too and he'll take the lead if he goes off and has two monster games against the Ravens and Bills. It's pry his only shot at this point though. I don't see him breaking 2,000 yards though because of that game missed.
  17. I don't think it matters if Lamar puts up a similar performance against the Fins. First seed, leads his team in rushing, and has a good game in Prime Time at the perfect time in the season against the best NFC team in their house. Overall stats be damned.
  18. More like a colonoscopy. The only way we lose this game is turnovers and special teams blunders.
  19. I always get a kick out of the casual fan that's mad that we had to go to Kansas City again this season. I hope the NFL never messes with this scheduling format as it's perfectly constructed. The only way they could improve it is to make one neutral site game internationally (the AFC/NFC oddball game when they added the 17th) and give each team eight home and away games each year.
  20. Just the way the schedule was constructed back in 2002 when they went to four team divisions. We could very well host them three years in a row now if we happen to finish in the same place in the division this year and next (2024, 2025). We're for sure scheduled to play them at home in 2026. Season opener in new stadium?
  21. It's simple. The only way we're resting guys in the finale is if a Wild Card game is already clinched and we're locked into the #6 seed. That means a couple of games falling our way and Miami beating the Ravens.
  22. We only need to lose one for the Steelers games to matter. It's not that hard.
  23. If we lose one it does. The Steelers own the tie breaker so they'd be ahead of us at 10-7. Same goes for the Bengals, Colts, and Texans.
  24. There's a scenario where we could be going into the final game with a win for the 2 seed and a loss knocks us out of the playoffs. Wild.
