The not so farfetched way the Bills miss the playoffsDoc Brown replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Harbaugh got burned resting his starters in the season finale in 2019 after they clinched the one seed (ironically a win against the Steelers). They came out flat in the divisional round. I don't think he makes that mistake again.

Verizon FIOS will be in dispute with Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2024Doc Brown replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Bold move threatening to remove Fox before the playoffs. Luckily, if we do make the playoffs it will be on any station but Fox. As an aside, switching from cable to YouTube TV was the best move I made.

Blue jerseys, white pants, blue socks against the PatsDoc Brown replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Uniform selection has been excellent this year. Only had to deal with the smurf look and red nightmare once each. Did Joe Brady take over uniform selection from Dorsey as well?

Week 17 - Cheats v. Bills - PREDICT THE SCOREDoc Brown replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Bills 31 Pats 10

2023 Defensive Save % Rankings (Like Baseball)Doc Brown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Looks about right. About league average the first three years and then that pesky elite gunslinger came along.

2023 Defensive Save % Rankings (Like Baseball)Doc Brown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall You mean from 2020 on and I again appreciate the effort. I would be interested from 2017 to 2019 to see if it's significantly different than the last three and a half years. I remember the Bills being better early in McDermott's tenure but I could be wrong.

2023 Defensive Save % Rankings (Like Baseball)Doc Brown replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall I appreciate the effort but way too small of a sample size. Now if you really feel ambitious start from McDermott's first year and see how the defense has performed the last five and a half seasons to gain anything meaningful.

Right. I forgot to add that as the main reason they wouldn’t consider Wilson as that’s not his strong suit.
-
No. They really like Kirk Cousins because he runs that system very well. He can't play out of structure like Wilson but they seem to be willing to live with that with Cousins.

Marvin Lewis never won a playoff game. That's a major difference. Tony Dungy with Peyton Manning is the more apt comparison. Dungy had mixed playoff success (3-4) and made the playoffs each year with Manning for the first four. It took him until his 5th year there to win the Super Bowl though and get past the Pats. We're in the middle of year four with Josh as an elite QB under McDermott where are playoff record is 4-3 since Josh became Josh.

The last three seasons have been absolute bonkers both on and off the field. I expect nothing less the rest of this season.

I am a grumpy old man but I never said any of that. Maybe edit the post so I don't sound like a lunatic.

That's all you had to write but I always enjoy your strange rants against Ralph and the Pegula's.

No QB's this year.... I think without these players they aren't likely division winners (besides Chris Jones I guess because of how pathetic the AFC West is). Tyreek Hill CMC Trent Williams Myles Garrett Chris Jones

Will Buffalo vs Miami be flexed to Sunday night??Doc Brown replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall When the Bills win and the Fish lose it will be flexed.

Correct. You used to see it all the time when Brady and Manning dominated their divisions. The Colts had three straight games at the Pats from '04 to '06. Then the Pats had three straight games at the Colts from '07 to '09. Then the Pats at the Colts from '10 to '12. LOL.

Coach of the year usually goes to the one that either goes almost undefeated or takes a team from the dumpster to the playoffs. There isn't a coach this year that falls neatly in either category. However, Stefanski winning double digit games with four different starting quarterbacks is imo the most impressive coaching job of the year.

More like a colonoscopy. The only way we lose this game is turnovers and special teams blunders.
