Herbert is the definition of why wins aren’t solely a qb stat. Average weapons and a defense that’s overpaid relative to their performance. Imagine Herbert on the 49ers, Eagles, or Dolphins. They’d be putting up historic numbers.

Just looking at the contract alone, Watson's is by far the worst if he doesn't get back to his old self. He's the only player in the NFL completely uncuttable for the next four years. It would cripple the Browns for at least the next four seasons (and pry beyond) they would deserve every ounce of misery that comes their way. It also would be the worst trade in NFL history as they still owe the Texans another first round pick next year. At least the Giants only gave Jones 82 million guaranteed instead of 240 million and can get out of it after next season with a sizable but somewhat manageable dead cap hit (22 million) after next season. It would be even more satisfying if Mayfield turns his career around in Tampa.

They're not getting a first for Elam. I doubt they would get anything better than a 4th for him which isn't worth it.

He's mediocre. He has pedestrian receiving weapons, a below average o-line, and was without Barkley tonight. However, he's definitely not worth 92m guaranteed over four years with an average of 40m. They're stuck with him at least through next season.

Agreed. It's an underrated show that's the best out there with the combination of humor and debate. I actually agree with Nick Wright a lot except when it comes to Allen. This, PTI, and the Rich Eisen show are one's I'll catch once in a while.

Very bizarre game management. They punt down 21 in the 4th quarter on a 4th and 3 near midfield yet leave their starters out there down 28. I guess it's the same head coach who thought trading up to draft Tim Tebow in the first round was a good idea.

Let's see what they do when they go up against top tier defenses. I'm encouraged they used Kincaid more inline this week so for one game they showed they're at least committed to altering how they attack defenses on offense.

If we win two of the next three we should be in good shape. When I first looked at the schedule I thought getting the Bengals later would be good because Von would be back by then. However, I didn't know Burrow would be hampered by an injury to start the year. Burrow's health is the wild card for the Bengals. They pry win the division if he can get healthy, but if he's not the Ravens should cruise (especially after watching the Browns/Steelers debacle last night).

Definitely not a happy ending for Watson tonight.
