Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score
Doc Brown replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall
W/ Dawkins - Bills 24, Pats 21 Without - Pats 27, Bills 17 -
Eh, we beat them twice in 2020. Let's not give Belichick too much credit. I think there's potential for a rivalry over the next decade if Belichick and McDermott stay that long. Mac Jones is better than Bills fans want to admit and we know Josh Allen is a QB that gives you the chance for the Super Bowl every year.

Dion Dawkins, Stefon Diggs named to Pro Bowl
Doc Brown replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The same panel that selects the all pros should also select the pro bowlers. Especially since the fifth year options on rookie contracts are tied to the voting. Jackson ahead of Allen (and Burrow) is ridiculous. -
“Hey coach. I’ll play with broken ribs for you but I had a runny nose this morning so I need this week off.”

Biden Confronts The Economic Crisis

Did you accidentally declare it as income or maybe it's something else like unemployment checks? -
Covid may decide who wins the AFC east
Doc Brown replied to Niagara Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall
Somehow AB will unintentionally get Brady on the Covid list once the playoffs start. -
Played at UB too. With the way things are going he could be our starting tackle this Sunday.

Twenty-two pages in and nobody seems to be excited that we signed Evin Ksiezarczyk.

At least Beasley didn’t lie about it.

Interesting most were vaccinated and none who tested positive were hospitalized. Makes Feliciano somewhat of an anomaly. To be fair, the guy played through broken ribs for us last playoffs and we’ve had maybe three most import games at this point.

Doesn’t matter. Rules unfortunately are the rules. Ten days away from the facility.

Since when can the booth reverse calls?

Oh yeah. Pry should've included that. -

Maybe sit the next couple of plays out. -
If you build a winning franchise you can attract and retain free agents (and draft picks) for fair value if you establish a winning franchise like McBeane has done. Milano, Poyer, Hyde, Dawkins, and White are pry the best examples of this. The problem is you're not always going to have a winning culture and you're going to have to overpay for free agents when you don't (Mario Williams, Derrick Dockery to name a couple). Crappy weather and a less than desired Buffalo night life will always count against the Bills when it comes to attracting free agents. Being able to play indoors would help a little.

It's frustrating because I'd love to buy season tickets again as I gave them up after the '07 season as that Giants game finally broke me. Plus, I started enjoying watching the game on tv more with the enhanced resolution and screen sizes. Still doesn't beat the stadium experience though on a decent fall day. The problem is you get maybe three or four a year of those max. With the season continuing to trend later into the winter I don't think we're going to attract many free agents who are willing to play here in January and February every year.

Since when can the booth reverse calls?

That happened under two minutes in the half so I'm not sure if they called a review from the booth because McDermott couldn't challenge it. You give them too much credit if that was their master plan. -

From what I understand is they just have a guy in the booth watching the tv broadcast of the game. If there's an obvious non subjective error ("Um, Jim. You dumb middle aged straight white man. He stepped out at the 20. Not the 40.") then they'll just relay that down to the crew on the field and it's up to the official on the field on whether to take his advice. It's a pretty archaic, half azzed system which is an improvement from the usual NFL replay nonsense. -

From an ESPN article back in April.... The furthest they are willing to go is allowing the existing replay official, who already sits in a stadium suite but is limited to assistance on plays that are reviewed, to advise referees in a handful of other "specific, objective aspects of a play when clear and obvious video evidence is present," according to the rule. What can the replay official weigh in on? • Penalty enforcement, proper down, spot of a foul, game clock or possession • Completed or intercepted pass • Touching of a loose ball, boundary line, goal line or end line • Location of the football or a player in relation to the boundary line, the line of scrimmage, the line to gain or the goal line • Down by contact (when a player is not ruled down by contact on the field) -
He's played in eight games and has 3 and 1/2 sacks. Two of which came yesterday. He's played four out of the last five games so the coaching staff must see something they like.

Three things (good and/or bad) you take from this game
Doc Brown replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
1.) We're not a Super Bowl contender with this o-line unless we somehow can get Dawkins-Feliciano-Morse-Williams-Brown all healthy and playing at once. 2.) Daboll called a pretty good came considering how decrepit our o-line was. 3.) I've watched Edmunds for about four seasons now and still have no clue if he's good or not. -
The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
Doc Brown replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It was a bill originally proposed in 2015 because some crazy lady refused to quarantine after interacting in patients with ebola. It never made it out of committee since then and it's being used by grifters to conjure up fear among the easily influenced for political gain and/or a great book deal.
