  1. Good. Now the Senate should do the same to Menendez.
  2. What happened to the offense in both of those games after going up early? It's why we hear about complimentary football ad nauseam.
  3. True. She called the police so her comments don't exactly align. Who knows what happened between now and when she made those comments.
  4. Why file the police report then?
  5. Money talks which is why the contract extensions before the season told me McD was never in jeopardy of losing his job. Especially for an owner who holds the Steelers model in such high regard. I just hope we can keep Brady on as OC and nobody snags him as a Head Coach.
  6. Hopefully they come out sooner than him getting pressure on the QB this season.
  7. Out of curiosity, do they have charts like this for previous seasons? I remember this defense being pretty good at closing out games early in McD's tenure. I'm just wondering if it's a talent thing with all the injuries McD fails to consider.
  8. He also has the most total touchdowns at 75. The next closest is Mahomes at 66. That's a 2.2TD to turnover ratio. I think the reward outweighs the risk because that's incredible production. 2018 Raiders off the top of my head where there QB wasn't injured. Just horrible coaching.
  9. The Rooney family.
  10. The contract extension is why I think it's close to zero. However, at the end of the season if I'm Pegula I'm talking to the core players/leaders on the team (Allen, Diggs, Milano, Dawkins, Oliver) and see what they think of McDermott. If he gets the impression McD's message has gone stale then it's time to cut bait. If they're still willing to go to war for him then give it another season. The easiest transition would be to promote Joe Brady to head coach, keep Beane as GM, and promote a DC from within. They're 6-6. Unless they buy Super Bowl tickets they're not on the verge of going there.
  11. Happy Birthday Stef. Wouldn’t have had all the success without you. Was very concerned this would turn into a the age of the start of the WR decline thread. Glad I was wrong.
  12. We won as double digit underdogs @Atlanta in 2017 and @Minnesota in 2018.
  13. I think you got your black coaches mixed up.
  14. Your argument against us not bouncing back from the most demoralizing regular season losses in the McDermott era is pointing out that we didn't bounce back from playoff losses? In the regular season you play the next week (or the following one if on the bye). Not the case in the postseason. How do you define "bouncing back" from playoff losses?
  15. Every thread will eventually turn to this. It's this message boards Godwin's Law until he's canned or wins a Super Bowl.
  16. Minor difference circumstances in a dome against a poor defense but this is why...
  17. Not with that attitude. The Bills have had many demoralizing regular season losses under McDermott (Hail Murray, Wind Game, Sun Game, Minnesota home game last year, Tampa game in OT, Titans MNF slip, etc.). They came back EVERY time.
  18. Tall task but it's not like the Bills are foreign to winning streaks in the regular season under McDermott. I wouldn't have made this thread if I hadn't seen them do it before.
  19. Ladifrickinda. I refuse to have to pick before 10:30 like those other plebs. We're going to the playoffs.
  20. If we beat KC our heads will start to spin and think it's possible. Cowboys aren't the same team on the road. I don't see Allen losing a prime time game in a dome against a Charger team that is even worse than us in terms of late game management. The Patriots will be like our second meeting with the Jets. The Dolphins game will be a challenge but we may have their number mentally. The Bills team and fans have been through the wringer this year and winning out will just make it that much sweeter.
  21. Mark it down right now. This team is going to the playoffs (edited - Super Bowl). We're going to run the table and finish 11-6. Too much adversity has hit this team over the last four years for it not to happen. The negativity they'll hear the next two weeks will spring this team like it did in 2021 in a very similar game in Tampa. It's always darkest before the dawn. Edited: Updated: We're going to win out and make Super Bowl.
  22. Well. That's a good omen. I think.
