  1. Didn't the Steelers send us sandwiches or something like that? God I'm glad these days are behind us and we can now complain about our QB not having a good day despite clinching our 3rd straight playoff birth.
  2. I thought that was Frerotte that did it against the padded wall in front of the crowd. Burfict was always a pos.
  3. Bizarre. The Pats played well today though.
  4. We play better on the road so maybe we should just rest our starters.
  5. Felt like a 2018 game but a win is a win. Style points be damned.
  6. No. You're pry in the majority with the "revenging an embarrassing loss" mindset you think the Bills and their fans would have going in. However, it's still a bad match up and pry would be a toss up.
  7. This board will be apoplectic if the Bills lose against the Falcons but the one silver lining is we won't have to face the Colts in the Wild Card round. Plus, we're better on the road. I'm all for winning the division but nobody is calling the Bucs a failure last year for not winning the NFC South.
  8. The playoff machine on 538 says we make the playoffs as long as we beat the Jets even if we lose to the Falcons? Is that accurate or did I click the wrong button?
  9. Agreed. We were 6-1 last year in one score games so it definitely could be an attitude thing. If every game from here on out is a playoff game like Josh said then you put your best roster out there to win that week. Playing it on the safe side with injuries or resting veterans shouldn't be an option. The Jaguars game hopefully taught this coaching staff a valuable lesson.
  10. His best year was his rookie year and he's gone downhill since then due to injury. I don't think he'll ever be the same player as he's looked very average at best this year when he is in the lineup. Still struggles with vision and pass protection. Hard pass.
  11. He's averaging 3.5 yards per carry so they're going to have to hand the ball off to him about 42 times a game.
  12. First off, start Antonio Brown if he plays. If he can't I'd go with Davis regardless if Sanders plays (probably won't given he was a DNP in the last two practices). If he does play I still expect Davis to get the majority of snaps opposite Diggs. Falcons are thin at CB and I expect Terrell to shadow Diggs opening up opportunities for Davis. He also has more upside when it comes to endzone targets. McKenzie was great last week but I'm more unsure of how they split the time between him and Beasley. Plus, the sample size with McKenzie is small.
  13. Mine as well just invite Notre Dame to the final four again. These games suck.
  14. If you're going by "best" player than you'd see more positions get it than QB. Aaron Donald would have multiple MVP's. McCaffrey maybe wins two years ago. The voters make the assumption that quarterback is the most important position and therefore the most valuable. I really can't argue with that. Assuming they only look at QB's, I'd like to hear how those who vote for the MVP approach it. My guess is they just look at the quarterbacks and go by stats, wins, consistency, the talent (or lack there of) of their supporting cast, and how much of a drop off the team would have if they had to play an average NFL backup. I'd give three of those five to Rodgers (stats, wins, consistency and two to Allen (drop off, worse supporting cast). It's pry even more complicated than that but that's how I'd vote. Then you also have personal biases among the voters and maybe they give an edge to older players if it's close who are more impressed with their whole body of work.
  15. It's an interesting debate because nobody relies more on their QB than the Bills. Rodgers to me is still the most valuable though. Buffalo has the better defense and the Packers are pry about to wrap up the #1 seed. The Packers put up seven points in KC when Rodgers caught Covid. His only terrible game was the opener and 33 TD's to 4 INT's are incredible numbers. Allen's just had too many bad games by his standard (Steelers, first Fins game arguably, Jaguars, Colts) to be ranked above Rodgers at this point. Now if Allen won the close games against the Titans and Bucs it would be a completely different conversation.
  16. Actually forgot about this and just read your response. Sorry about that. The only reason I responded is it struck me odd you'd give praise to someone posting a link with no context. No mention of it being proposed back in 2015 because of the Ebola outbreak where some crazy lady refused to quarantine after interacting in patients with ebola. This website added this little nugget at the bottom so I dug a little deeper. Note: A previous version of this article mentioned a vote on the bill on January 5th 2022, that is the date of the legislative session in general, not the date of the vote on Bill A416. So, they originally said there would be a vote on the bill on January 5th in order to conjure up fear to grow their platform. In a way it's a good thing though as the writer of the bill enacted the stricken clause on December 21st after the backlash it received.
  17. "Josh Allen's favorite fast food restaurant is chick fil-a. Brian Daboll's car is red." Thanks for the practice squad check.
  18. Great to see Diggs not even listed.
  19. I was happy to see him inactive before the game because I was afraid the Bills would try to go run heavy against the Pats. It also may have been a numbers game with wanting to make as may WR's active as possible with Sanders and possibly Diggs nursing an injury (with Beasley and Davis on the Covid list). It pry came down to Sweeney vs. Hodgkins for that final inactive.
  20. He’ll pry just continue paying the fines. On a side note, I’m thankful Sanders, Diggs, and McKenzie got vaccinated over the summer. We could’ve been down all of them against the Pats if they weren’t.
