  1. Reid's shadow is pretty big (metaphorically and literally). The one offensive coordinator he allowed to call plays under him (Nagy) struggled offensively as the Bears head coach. It will take a larger leap of faith than usual for a new head coaching hire by the Saints given Bienemy's never called plays. I said last year that the Chiefs should allow a lateral transfer to a team he can call plays for as offensive coordinator. Similar to what Pettine did here before getting the Browns gig.
  2. Agreed which is why we need to develop a running game. Also, improve the o-line to help keep him clean like they did in 2020. Save the designed QB runs for crucial moments and big games.
  3. They should hire Flores . I could see Daboll making a run at Martindale, Fangio, Wilks, Zimmer, or promote from within. He has a lot of options.
  4. Diggs finally admitted that the reason he left was the Vikings went from a more pass happy offense in 2018 under DeFlippio where he got 9.9 targets per game to a more run heavy approach in 2019 under Stefanski where he only got 6.3. He's had 10.4 and 9.6 targets per game in his two years here. It's pry similar to why OBJ wanted out of Cleveland.
  5. The stupidity of the OP aside (there's a whole host of reasons Graham would prefer Vegas over NJ). I wonder if Leslie Frazier would consider making a lateral move to the Giants.
  6. And will make sure everyone knows they'll be lucky to have him.
  7. First hike in four years and it's only $1.66 more a month. You can't even get a cup of coffee at Tim Horton's for that much.
  8. Give me a break. The writing was on the wall for Daboll as the front runner for head coach when the Giants hired Schoen as the GM.
  9. More like the Burger King. Pizza Hut's way better than Dominoes or Little Caesars.
  10. Boogie Nights and The Departed are pry his best movies he was a part of. Lone Survivor was his most impressive in terms of acting as I thought he was perfectly cast.
  11. He's an intriguing candidate who looks like he should be working for PFF that may not want to jump in that dumpster fire right now. You can't really argue with the Shanahan coaching tree's success right now though. I have know idea if he has the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to be a successful head coach. Press conferences would be interesting though. Also, I need to see a picture of his black father. At least give him an ancestry DNA test before handing the 49ers draft picks.
  12. He’s done well everywhere he goes. High drama and not the greatest track record in high stakes games. Basically the Aaron Rodgers of football.
  13. My brother texted me saying they hired Brady as qb’s coach. I thought. Wow. Not the post retirement endeavors I was expecting. Wrong Brady.
  14. Oh. Thanks. Well for all you McDermott pitch fork people the post still stands.
  15. It does in some instances but I'm sure there have been black coaches who wowed in interviews and got a job who wouldn't have gotten the interview without the Rooney rule in place. I think something like the Rooney rule is needed as this idea that a private business hiring practices will overcome racial or other biases and naturally go to some sort of meritocracy utopia is naive. They'll continue to tweak it as it's not going away.
  16. The most obvious way would've been to start Josh Rosen the entire season in 2019. Flores didn't do that though and inserted Fitzpatrick after Rosen struggled.
  17. Did you find out they all got fired in the eleven minutes between your posts?
  18. Your heart is in the right place but Garrett, Judge, Nagy, and Fangio all got fired.
  19. Considering they worked together for a lot of years. No. As an aside, the only thing that could've made those texts even more funny is if he had "White Brian" and "Black Brian" as his contacts.
  20. The rift pry happened when Sean said, "Hey Brian. How the ***** did we only score six points against Jacksonville?" Do you really trust the Pegula's to hire someone better? I know they've been great with the Sabres but I just question their football acumen.
  21. Well, since it's a copy cat league. Maybe Mahomes tears his ACL next year to get that 2nd WR they desperately need. Also, if the Bills execute a squib kick the Bengals wouldn't be in the Super Bowl.
  22. Parlay? Bengals were plus 15,000 to win the Super Bowl (same as the Jets). Rams were plus 1200.
